Quinta Do Bucanero - Roteiros de Charme — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Florianópolis

This review is long overdue. We stayed at Bucanero in November 2013. We had done a lot of research prior to deciding on Bucanero and are so glad we ended up going there. The setting is magical and very romantic and the little town is amazing. Just what we needed. ||||We arrived in the morning, prior to the official check-in time. The Front Desk could not have been more friendly and they offered us free breakfast even though breakfast would not be included in the room rate until the next day. ||||The breakfast was absolutely amazing and included different home baked quiches, bakery items, fresh fruits and freshly squeezed juices. I don't typically enjoy breakfast foods, but this breakfast was amazing. We also had dinner in the restaurant on several occasions which was also very good. ||||We loved visiting the restaurant around the time the sun was setting and having some Brazilian prosecco. Very romantic! ||||We stayed in a standard room which overlooked the beach and had a cute little terrace. All of the rooms have real candles and incense. You also have the option to book rooms with jacuzzis on the balcony. The B&B itself is absolutely gorgeous, very contemporary and well kept up. ||||The B&B doesn't have direct access to the beach, but the staff will row you over the little lake in front of the hotel to the beach and pick you up. We also did a horseback riding tour over the beach which we would definitely recommend. ||||The staff is absolutely amazing and always aiming to please. Some examples were the German lady that worked during breakfast fetching us sunscreen lotion on her way into work, another employee giving us a lift from a shop back to the hotel as we couldn't find a cab, staff arranging acai for us while they typically don't have it on the menu and staff trying to speak to Brazil customs to ensure that it is not a problem leaving the country as I had lost my entry document that was attached to my passport. The owner was also totally amazing and very involved. ||||We also really enjoyed Imbituba. We stayed at the hotel during low season, so it might have been a little less busy, but that was something we just needed. The area is great to walk around in. ||||All in all, we really recommend Quinta do Bucanero and we definitely hope to...

We have just returned from 8 wonderful nights at the Quinta do Bucanero with our 3 teenagers and a friend of theirs and WOW, what a wonderful time we had there. This is a small, comfortably luxurious home from home with the most stunning views over the beautiful Praia Do Rosa, a village and beach that we are now all in love with. The rooms here are so comfortable, the beds are blissful and the bathrooms well appointed and clean. All of the public areas in the hotel are tastefully furnished, with fabulous art and sculptures dotted about that are a treat for the eye. The breakfasts are delicious, as was dinner when we had it in the hotel. The staff completely make the place though. We arrived past midnight and the receptionist who should have left at midnight stayed to welcome us - thank you Jenner. Leo did a wonderful job of taking care of us at breakfast and throughout the day - always ready with beach towels, beach chairs and helpful information on the area - he was also kind enough to accompany me to the local hospital after I had a small mishap that required hospital attention - thank you Leo. In the background Natalia was making all the necessary calls to make my trip to the hospital as smooth as possible - so thank you too to Natalia! This is a real gem - secluded, peaceful, elegant and yet only a stones throw from the lively village and a 2 min boat trip to the sea. Two things to recommend (aside from hanging on the beach). Eu não gostaria ter que começar o ano escrevendo um feedback negativo, mas infelizmente não existe outra alternativa e espero que sirva de alerta para outros casais.

No dia 18 de Dezembro, eu e o meu marido decidimos comemorar o nosso aniversário de casamento em um local diferente e romântico.

Após ver tantas opções, não devemos de esquecer o quanto o Brasil é lindo e existem centenas de hotéis com um design e conceito parecido com a Quinta do Bucanero. Mas como vendia a ideia de “hotel boutique” e somos fãs desse conceito por ficar em diversos hotéis assim, não pensamos duas vezes e partimos de viagem para a Praia do Rosa.

Ligamos fazendo a reserva e dissemos para a moça que iríamos chegar antes das 15h porque estávamos comemorando o aniversário de casamento. A moça da recepção disse que talvez poderíamos entrar mais cedo no quarto.

Quando chegamos, fomos convidados a sentar para fazer o check-in, o local realmente era lindo e estávamos bem felizes. Já na chegada, não foi oferecido uma água, chá ou café, normal dos hotéis boutique. No meio do nosso check-in chegou outro casal, onde inclusive a senhora estava grávida e reparamos que também não perguntaram se queriam uma água ou algo mais. Já achamos um absurdo para nós, imagina para o casal com a moça super grávida!?

Em seguida falaram que o quarto não estava pronto e isto era 14:15 e levaram-nos até o restaurante para esperarmos. Ficamos esperando e esperando, o hotel estava bem vazio e por coincidência o nosso quarto ficou pronto exatamente às 15h.

Entendemos que o check-in é às 15h mas mais uma vez, estamos ficando em um hotel boutique que preza pela “hospedagem voltada para o charme e os detalhes do bem receber” (Texto do site).

O nosso quarto era bem lindo, limpo e cheiroso. Só que um hotel boutique ou de charme, segue um padrão diferente dos outros hotéis de rede e é pena que os gerentes não entendem isso.

Ao entrar deparamos com o seguinte: Não tinha nenhuma carta de boas-vindas, impossível ser por falta de tempo do gerente, tendo em conta que só existem 12 quartos e o hotel estava vazio.

Não tinha nem uma flor no quarto, não deixando o hóspede se sentir acolhido. Com tantas flores lindas perto do hotel, só pode ser por falta de disposição.

As duas garrafas de água e as duas cápsulas de café deixadas no quarto eram cobradas. As águas eram filtradas no hotel mesmo e as garrafas com o logo do hotel. Isto significa que a despesa pelas águas que o hotel tem é bem baixa. Poderiam pelo menos oferecer as águas ao hóspede, se até o Íbis oferece porque o hotel Quinta do Bucanero com uma diária de R$ 2,000 não pode oferecer? Atenção! Nada contra o hotel Íbis, você recebe o que você paga.

Nada de drink de boas-vindas ou se o hotel não tem possibilidades de fazer isso, então deixar uma fruta. Não tinha absolutamente nada no quarto, super impessoal e pura falta de imaginação!

Fomos para a famosa psicina panorâmica, ela é realmente fantástica, para uma criança de 3 anos. A água bate no tornozelo e o hóspede fica parecendo um jacaré dando voltas tentando se molhar.

Conclusão, o hotel é lindo mas o serviço é extremamente baixo. Recomendo a lerem mais artigos onde mostra o que é ser um hotel boutique ou até pedir orientações a um especialista na área. Não precisa de ser muito ágil para encontrar várias ideias online em como se diferenciar dos outros hotéis.

Entendo que ganharam um prémio em 2015, algo que foi mencionado imensas vezes, mas isto foi há 9 anos atrás onde os hotéis boutique estavam começando a aparecer. Se não se destacarem dos outros hotéis, os hóspedes não vão ter motivos de voltar nem de recomendar a outras pessoas. Ou pior, vão ser como eu e deixar um feedback longo e negativo.
