Pousada Murilo centro foz — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Foz do Iguaçu

A small and modest hotel. 85 R$ per night for a single person. The room is small, the shower is good, there is hot water and the stream is good. Unfortunately not so clean. There is hair in the bed and on the walls in the shower. There is a small fridge in the room and very good air conditioning. I stayed 3 nights but the room was never cleaned. Its location is a bit far from the center on foot, but there is private parking lot for those who come with a car. A relatively safe area at night, I didn't feel any threat from the environment. The hotel staff is very nice and especially the young lady who speaks English really well. You can hire a driver for a day at a price of 50 R$ for a trip to Paraguay. This hostal is owned by a really kind family who started two months ago with this new adventure. It was the best welcoming we experienced during our travel for 4 months. They were so nice and helpfull and gave us very good information about where and what to do like transport, things to do, best times to go etc. The whole family including kids speaks english and have many stories to tell.
