This is a charming restaurant that has an Italian country feel. They have a number of large tables that can accommodate large groups. There were a number of families dining in along with smaller tables with couples.

They have an extensive wine menu, and the food is mostly Italian with a variety of pizzas, meats, and salads. We were a group of 6 and ordered pizzas, salad, and pasta along with 2 bottles of wine. I was not very hungry, so I only tried a piece of the filet mignon pizza. The pizza was extremely salty. The main reason was that the pieces of filet mignon were very salty and overly seasoned, in addition to the cheese. It just made it even more salty. We choose this spot as the same owned spot across the street was packed. Service was beyond slow. The house wine got you a very healthy pour and was actually decent in taste. The pizza was really good. Oven baked. They don't skimp on the toppings. Crust was light and thin. It's really too bad that it took over an hour to get it. Otherwise I'd highly recommend it. So slow that 4th star should be a half, that's how slow. The sicilian pizza with an extra topping beer and glass of wine came to almost $100 reals. $8 for an extra topping and $1 for the card box to bring home any leftovers lol. We had the most wonderful meal at Vo Luiz! Everything was perfect. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine and Aperol Spritz, the "side" of steak (it was sooooo good and definitely more of a large appetizer), the Caprese salad, and fettuccine with shrimp, oil and garlic.
