Barracuda Boutique — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Ilhéus – Itabuna

We stayed in Vila Barracuda only for two nights, but it was AMAZING!

It's located directly next to town but with seaview - great!!

We did some really nice daytrips, one to Itacarezinho, where we took a surfing lession and once they orgenized a SUP trip to the waterfall for us.... we can really recommend this!! It was soooooo nice to paddle through the river!!

The Hotel also has an AMAZING restaurant. We had the catch of the day and the zucchini spaghetti and both was really delicious. One of the best restaurants in whole Itacare (We tried lots of them coz we've been to 2 other hotels there as well, you shoud definitely try this one)

We really loved our stay here, especially the evenings on the terrace with the nicely prepared drinks in cocoas

We spent an evening at the restaurant and enjoyed the terrace overlooking the beach. A table of drunken people from São Paulo inland gave the impression of being in a low-class boteco with their screams and annoying singing but hotel personnel was unable (or unwilling) to say or do anything. The reservation we had made had been "forgotten" by the lady at the reception so our table was freed only after 15' Food was ok, very good starters but disappointing mains (didn't dare go for desserts). Drinks pretty bad, especially if compared with the masterpieces that the "older brother" hotel barracuda serves Too bad because rooms seem really nice and far...

Beautiful hotel and nice staff however do not under any circumstances rent the rooms located on the first floor. The night I stayed in one of the first floor standard room there was so much loud noise with the live music and people I felt like I was sleeping under a club. The rooms are literally right next to the front desk and located in the entrance hallway. The windows lead to the hallway. It’s miserable if you like to go to sleep...
