This pousada is in a great location steps away from the beaches, Projeto Tamar, and the shops. The staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast is standard Brazilian fare but if there aren't a lot of guests, you'll have to ask for eggs and pão de queijo (we only found out these were part of the expanded menu on our last morning as more guests were there). We shared a room with two twin beds and while it was small, the beds and pillows were reasonably comfortable, the a/c worked well, and the shower (stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and soap) had hot water. What more do you need if you'll be at the beach most of the day? ||||The only downside is there were only two outlets in the room and so it made charging devices difficult, especially since upon exiting the room, the electricity to the room is turned off so there is no charging anything while you're away from the room. Bring a power strip if you have more than two devices. There is a mini-fridge in the room (stocked with drinks), a TV, but no phone.||||The pool is super small (felt like a giant hot tub) but is perfect for a fresh dip after a hot day. ||||They could use a hammock or two but there likely isn't space for them.||||All in all, I'd stay there again upon returning to...
Read moreIt was a very good pousada . The location was excellent - very close to the square, beaches and shops / restaurants. It was in a very quiet tree covered spot. The pousada had a pleasant appearance and the inner grassy courtyard and sitting / TV room were good places to read and relax.||||The breakfasts were excellent - great selection of fruit, fresh juice , savoury and sweet items. The pousada also does an afternoon tea. ||||The staff- at the front desk, in the dining room and cleaning were all very good.||||Our room was always cleaned in a professional way at an appropriate time in the morning.||||We had room 15 - upstairs with a nice outlook on a lane . The cooler worked well and often it was very pleasant just having the windows open and the overhead fan on. The bed was...
Read moreWe chose this cute pousada which promotes relaxation. The building is very charming, close to beach and shopping. However, as we found out the hotel is mainly used by families with small children for whom it is great. There is a kids room even. For everyone else though it is not the best choice as there is constant screaming, playing, singing... The rooms are very small and not well insulated, the pool area is also not divided into an adult and kids area, so it is impossible to find peace and quiet. Massages are super and the jacuzzi nice although also in the kids play zone (which is the entire area). Great food, nice staff but we would not come back unless we had...
