This was on top Inn that we stayed during our two-week trip to Brazil for 2014 FIFA games. The second we arrived, we had a sense that we were going to be well taken care of. No other hotels we went the first thing the owner did was to hand us two big chilled, bottled water; she also showed us where the free coffee and cakes were, which were served through the day, The owners/staff were extremely friendly and helpful; Rooms are small, but very clean and everything was in good working condition. A very well-thought out internal design. This was the first time we took a HOT shower in Brazil! It was very reasonably priced, and breakfast, parking and WiFi are all free.||||On the morning we left, I mistakenly locked my car-key in the car. The owner really took it on as if this were her personal problem. She contacted the rental car company; when she decided the emergency road help may take long time, she drove to fetch a locksmith to help unlocked the car. We were already very happy with everything; this extra effort certainly added to our great experience with this Inn. If we ever come back to Porto de Gallinas, there is no doubt we would come straight...
Read moreThis small hotel is very well located just 5 min walk to the main street where all the bars shops and restaurants are located. Don't let the houses nearby the pousada put you off. We walked many times during the night and its very quiet we didn't had any problems at all.||The breakfast is good. It has a good selection of breads, eggs, cooked food, cereals and very nice cakes. |The room although is very simple and small it has everything we needed and the most important: it was very clean. |Whilst bathroom was tiny it had hot water. Big bonus in a pousada :-)||The pousada offered beach towels service for 2 reais each. They also have beach chairs, parasol, beach rackets that you can borrow at no extra cost.||All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Marcia and Claudia for her amability.||100% recommended. If I come back to Porto I will come back...
Read moreSmall pousada one street away from the main street. Many people have said it's located on a somewhat sketchy street, but we found it just fine, even at night. It's on a street with one other hotel and small, residential houses (just not very wealthy ones, but it's very safe). Rooms are cozy but comfortable, very clean. Very quiet. Staff is so friendly. There is a small front porch and lobby, and hammocks, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was wonderful - tons of variety of cold and hot foods, including made-to-order tapioca (a local favorite). This is not a 5-star beach resort, but we stayed for 4 nights and it was perfect - didn't break the bank and while there is not ocean view, it was a 5-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, etc. with a wonderful...
