Pousada Airumã — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata do Rio de Janeiro

This hidden jewel is perfect for any get-away. Looking at several of the other pousadas, room by room, and hotels in Saquarema... we were totally blown away at the value of this clean, friendly and tasteful pousada. The breakfast was delicious with copious amounts of fruit, breads, meats, cheeses, yogurts, juice, coffee, and eggs. The outdoor space is quaint yet enjoyable. The rooms are small but VERY CLEAN. And the staff was tremendous throughout our stay. Although not directly on the beach, it's a short walk to a beautiful stretch of Itauna beach and a short drive to the main drag...

Pousada Airuma is nice and sweet. It’s run by two warm sisters. They are great hosts. They speak little English but they will understand if you also make the effort. They helped me with finding a good restaurant and with booking a taxi to Rio.||Very good value. The only drawback is that it is 750 meters from the beach.||Good to visit the tourist office just before the ramp up the bridge across the channel to the lagoon. Lugar muito aconchegante, atendimento fora de série espetacular, eles não sabem o que fazer para te agradar (amamos), O carinho de todos com minha filha de 3 anos nossa incrível, fizeram até a forminha de plástico "subir" na árvore que ficava no hall de entrada e minha filha ficou encantadissima. O valor muito justo, e ainda no final da nossa estadia não cobraram uma diária pois era para sairmos no sábado até 12:00 e acabamos saindo na sexta às 9:00 por causa da chuva. Mas eles não tinham obrigação nenhuma de abater uma diária pois eu reservei até sábado. Qual foi minha surpresa quando ela não cobrou a última diária. Se tudo já estava perfeito , o nosso carinho e respeito ficou ainda maior. Voltaremos com certeza quantas vezes Deus nos...
