I had booked this hotel for our last nights' stay in Sao Paulo since it is within walking distance to the Ibirapuera Park. We unfortunately arrived in SP from Rio on a rainy night, hence found ourselves swamped with late Saturday night traffic due to road closures and traffic diversions enroute to our hotel.|The hotel is situated in quite a vibey part of town, with a noisy neighboring bar immediately noted on arrival.|I had booked the superior suite, so was rather disappointed to find a twin bed setup in a very tightly spaced room. There was absolutely no space between my bed and the wardrobe, and we both felt as if our feet at the end of the bed were just about resting on the TV mounted on the wall at the foot end of the beds.|Although there is a nice adjoining lounge area with outside balcony, this Suite can hardly call itself superior!!|The adjoining bathroom is also a tiny space, but at least with a decent shower.|There is no tea or coffee facility in the room, but there is free coffee available in a flask at reception. |There is also a reasonably-priced mini bar available in the room. |The included continental breakfast in the morning provides a good selection of fruit, pastries, cold meats, cheeses, and a couple of hot dishes.|The concierge allowed us to store our luggage the next morning at checkout, and we took a very comfortable and relaxed 27 minute walk to the Ibira park.|The hotel is approximately 40 minutes from the International Airport...
Read moreThis is the second time we stayed in this hotel and we have not regretted our choice. The hotel is located in a good area, near plenty of good restaurants, shops and bars. The hotel is also near the airport of Congonhas. Although you can hear the planes during the day (they do not fly during the night) the noise did not bother me at all. ||||The rooms are comfortable, clean and the Wi-Fi in my room was good. The breakfast is really good. The selection of food served is not immense but what they serve is really tasty. They always have fresh fruits, different types of pastries, cakes, bread, scrambled eggs and sausages. The coffee is good too.||||The staff in the reception and in the hotel is really attentive. I had a problem with my toilet, and the reception sent someone to fix it immediately. I asked the chambermaids for more towels and they were really happy to provide me with as many towels as I want.||||They have a pent house with a small swimming pool and gym. Again the swimming pool and the gardens are well kept and clean. It was nice to go up there for sunbathing. However, you need a really hot day to use the pool because it is really cold. ||||I would definitely stay in this hotel again and I would recommend...
Read moreThe breakfast is terrible, besides being expensive (if you want to drink extra coffee daily, because there are few items and to fry eggs they still charge separately. An Absurdo). For that reason, we only had breakfast on 2 of the 5 days we were at the hotel (as we didn't know where to go).
Another bad point was in relation to the payment we made for extra daily coffee, which was not counted and still wanted to be charged again when checking out.
I also highlight as a bad point, the fact that some residents do not respect the right to use collective areas, and employees become silent about the violations of residents. For example, there was a dark HB20 vehicle PARKED in the access area, close to the fountain, making sure that all vehicles did not use the setback for loading and unloading. I went to question the employee, and the answer I got was: "the vehicle belongs to a resident, Mr., and it is quick". But during my waiting time, approx 15min, 7 vehicles could not stop correctly, in addition to ours, and regardless of the time, the area cannot be used for parking.
I don't recommend it, after all there are other options in...
