The hotel is not a three star but a two star if not one. It’s an old hotel that needs a refurbishment, a lot of things are broken on the property. The staff here does not speak english. CLEANING SERVICE: Does not clean the rooms properly, only changes the bins. Does not add any soap or shampoos, towels and toilet paper. Does not use any chemicals to clean the room, only uses one dirty bucket for the whole hotel. Does not make the beds or change the sheets. Cleans rooms at around 4:30 in the afternoon. FOOD: Cold, greasy, everyday it’s the same thing. If things are not eaten at lunch they add it to the dinner. Dirty, the fruits are rotten. Always not enough fries. The food name tags do not match to the actual food. Never enough forks, knives, spoons and cups for tea or coffee. The staff at the restaurant does not speak any english at all! SWIMMING POOLS: The splash in the kids pool does not work. A lot of chlorine is added to the kids pool each day this can be seen as the bottom of the pool turns white. The actual big pool starts from 170cm, not too good for kids and teens if they want to have fun, this pool is also not good for those who can not swim. Again a lot of chlorine is added each night. The area around the pool is dirty not only with the dirt left by the guest eg: cups, cigarettes but also full of leaves. The lamps for the pool swims loosely on the surface of the pool. The life guard has a RACIST approach towards the english kids but not to the Romanian or Bulgarian. He is never to be seen around unless he has a problem with one of the english kids. Calls it “my pool”. The sewages around the pool are open meaning it’s dangerous for the kids and anyone walking around. Additionally there was a hopeless dog swimming in the big pool one night. POOL BAR: Does not remind you of a bar at all but a hut, everything is falling apart. The bartenders do not understand english. GARDEN: Dirty, not looked after, dark with no lights at all. Again all sewages are broken meaning that you must look where you’re going. The pavement is also broken, with very high curbs not suitable for kids or anyone with children in buggies. There’s no benches for you to sit on. The area of the hotel has no fence at all or security making it quite a dangerous place. ROOMS: Everything is old and mainly broken. The television here is only in Bulgarian with only one english tv channel (bbc news). The mirror in the bathroom is on the same level as your stomach not your face. The ceiling is broken in the bathroom ( can be seen on the photos attached) RECEPTION/LOBBY AREA: Really hard to communicate in english, maybe only one person speaks proper english. The manager isn’t useful or helpful at all, isn’t interested in her guests at all. The lobby area has a small television that only plays adverts. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL!

Everything is great here for a 3 star hotel, it’s all inclusive, the food it’s really delicious, there’s a great variety even for vegetarians. The room are nice, there is a conditioner, a balcony, tv, chairs, etc., they provide with towels, people from service desk are very nice and they are always there to help if you have any problems like i had with the room key (card) and they can answer your questions, they know English, Bulgarian, Russian and a bit of Romanian. The swimming pool has a very clean water and it’s so large, they provide free lounge chairs and umbrellas. I loved the fact that the beach is at 600 meters from the hotel. The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that they don’t change the bed sheets and towels :(

The whole place is in need of renovation, the bathrooms are very poor, ceiling falling down, The patio doors have all been broken into and not repaired so that there is no way to lock them, I had to repair my own door! The food is edible but only served warm ,the choice is very limited and doesn't really change from day to day. The landscape and hotel does not look like the pictures on the website, making me think that they were taken a number of years ago. It is a one star hotel, two at most. The pool is great, although for nervous swimmers the shallow end is 1.7m, the poolside is poor and electrics are worrying ( see pics ).

I stayed here for a week with my partner and the two of us had a really good time, the area is amazing and the beach is beautiful. The room had a double bed and a single and I believe they are all like that with a large stand in shower. The hotel isn't exactly modern but it still looks good with a great deep swimming pool and a kids pool as well. The food was good with a large selection at buffet times I always found a few things that I like. The beach is amazing but there is a lot of stairs down to it plus a five minute walk through the market type place full of interesting things and cheep souvenir shops plus loads of kids rides so it doesn't make the walk boring, the stairs can be a challenge on the way back but you can get the train/tram thing that goes about the resort for 3 Levs per person so £1.50 and it's great for seeing new places (remember it's number 2 train you get) you are supposed to get free sun loungers on the hotels beach zone but we never found it so would usually end up hiring loungers but if you walk right along past the pirate ship bar you will find a strip of the beach only a few metres wide right next to the water and a lot quieter so just stick a towel down and enjoy. All in all we loved this part of Bulgaria and the hotel exceeded expections considering the rather cheap price of the holiday it's extremely worth it and we are hoping to return soon. TIP: get the orange juice from the reception bar instead of the machines about the hotel it is...
