The hotel was easy to find, parking across the street from the hotel …..so far so good! After this surprises wouldn’t stop and were….. very bad ones ☹ ||||The rooms were very dirty, dust all over, spider webs in the corners, floor carpet dirty, mold on the wall and in the bathroom. We asked to have the rooms cleaned a little bit to be able to accommodate.||And there came a lady with a cloth, a small broom and a dust pan! Apparently the hoover was broken ….in a 4 star hotel with 23 rooms!||After few minutes we were told that the room was cleaned but was just about the same. In order to be able to use the room we used wet tissues to wipe the furniture surface and the bathroom.||||After we got settle we wanted to use the spa facilities, what came out to be a bad joke!||A half-filled dirty swimming pool in a cold area, 4 broken gym equipment, a very tired sauna and 2 horrendous showers was the so called “spa”!||The receptionist mentioned that the pump and the heating was broken for the swimming pool area but will be fixed latest second day…..after 5 days was in the same state!||We were later told that was some problem with the mineral water springs which supplied the pools in the area.||Managed to go a couple of times to the sauna but I couldn’t really enjoy it because the floor was dirty, the door wouldn’t close properly and wasn’t brave enough to use those showers.||||On the third day I took the rubbish outside the room and asked them to clean my room and once again complained to the manager about everything which was wrong.||The lady from the reception which was overwhelmed of our continuous complains told us that she cannot do anything and call the manager.||After listening her translation about what we thought was wrong and that he should do something to sort this out he turned around and left, no comments, no apologies, no solutions!!!||The room was quickly cleaned after the receptionist instructed one of her colleague to do so! That was the only “cleaning” until we went!!!||The towels were never changed during our 4 nights stays and as mentioned above the room got cleaned once! And I should consider myself a lucky one, most of our friends didn’t get any visit from the lady which was cleaning the rooms!||Toilet paper was provide by the reception after we asked for on the third day!||||Breakfast was the same everyday: tomatoes, cucumber, ham, cheese (2 types), fried eggs, cereals (2 types), milk, butter, bread (2 types), some kind of donuts and something I “believe” was jam! ||Very thin slices of oranges and apples were also given, could have been mixed as they were for design!!!||Coffee was the powder one and instead of juice was some red colored sweet water.||||Dinner had the morning base (tomatoes, cucumber, one type of cheese) completed with rice, some fried chicken drums or wings and some traditional meat balls…..everything was cold!||Once we received something which looked like dog food, didn’t have the courage to try it.||We complained about the food also but we were told “what is wrong with food? Is fried chicken and can be eaten cold also!”||In some cases we could see traces of lipstick on the glasses and dirty plates which we refused to use and returned them back to the waitress.||||For the New Year evening the food was also very poor in regards of quantity and quality. We did get few bottles of water, Coca Cola, Fanta and a shot of Bulgarian spirit.||Lucky that we had our own drinks brought from home.||Was a DJ which played good music and we had a good time with other people of Bulgarian and Serbian nationality which also stayed in the hotel …..until around 1:30 when drunk been the so called manager started fighting with one of his friend/employ, they become very aggressive and everybody left the so called Mehana which was on a lower level restaurant.||The police was called, none of them got arrested or anything….one of the aggressor looked like had a good acquaintance with one of the police officer! ||We were looking from the balcony but we decided to spend the rest of the night in one of the apartment we had, none of the other guest returned back to the restaurant! ||||The last day came and we had the surprised of getting the staff upset that we left later than 11:00, even if check out...
Read moreI don't know how this hotel got 4 stars....maybe in the past. I was also at this hotel to celebrate new year's eve and i can't write sth good about this stay. First room that i was given, was horrible, with cracked walls and spider nets all over the ceiling. |The employees do not speak english, except one of them who was our translator when we tried to speak to the manager about all the bad things that we found there.|We couldn't use the pool because, the manager said so, the pumps from the mineral water springs were broken, REALLLYYYY???????|In the new year's eve night, the manager and other guests started a fight and we had to go to our rooms to evoid a big mess.|The food wasn't a real buffet like they said, because at breakfast they had the same things every day: 2 types of cheese, some kind of home made doughnuts, bacon, fried eggs, fried bread with eggs, cucumber, tomatoes, milk, butter, cereals, and coffee. At dinner some of us couldn't eat because they had nothing to choose from....from 2 types of meat: meatballs or fried chicken and some cabbage salad.|When i got home, i found out from facebook that they had a sky bar....this is the reason why the elevator has the 3-rd floor button (always wondered with my friends what's on that floor when we took the elevator :))))))|So...if we had this problems, think about the ones that come after us....do not...
Read moreI payed an all inclusive weekend, but got a very poor menu for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service was on a very low level, the staff acted like amateurs except when playing with their children, their trotinette, dolls and drawing notebooks in the lobby. The room was dirty, especially bathroom that smelled bad, didn't change towels for which we had to ask several times as well as for shampoo and soap. They charged for the coffee we had on the terrace, the same coffee from a machine they served in the small restaurant for breakfast. I asked for a shot of Bulgarian spirit and the bartender said he will by me a drink although I had already paid for everything and it should be free. We asked for a natural juice, but they told us we can only have the disolved syrup they served for breakfast and after we insisted they found one for us. The pool area was cold as well as the water that was also dirty and the equipment in the fitness room were all broken. The "famous" Sky bar and the Mehana were closed and I don't have more time to lose describing all lacks I noticed in this, so called, four star hotel. My advice to all potential visitors to Bansko is to avoid Glazne and find much better place to stay for the same (if not even less) money! And at the end, tell them they should erase at least...
