Hotel Bojur & Bojurland Apartment Complex — Hotel in Bansko

We stayed at this hotel in January during the ski-season and we had an average experience but the hotel itself has capacity and potential to offer more. ||To start with the positive sides, the hotel has an ideal location i.e. it's a 15-minute walk from the center but it still offers a shuttle at regular times throughout the day. The room, the restaurant, the pool and the facilities were well-maintained and very clean (I particularly enjoyed the pool because having no other guests to make noise it was peaceful and relaxing even though the water was not warm but a bit on the chilly side) and the staff were amazing from the cleaners to the restaurant staff and the receptionist. Finally, the best side of being the only guests for pre-paid dinner is perhaps that we got a four-course meal which except for the desert was pretty delicious and satisfying.||However, on the negative side, one-bedroom apartment was perhaps and average size but we think it was too small for a comfortable four-day stay for four people since we kept bumping into each other and found it hard to watch TV at the same time. There was also no drain or curtains in the bathroom so all the water from the shower stayed inside and made a wet mess in the bathroom which spread to the other rooms as we were walking out of it. Lastly, we really disliked the breakfast buffet which was extremely poor in choice and quality, too. ||All in all, the pros and cons that I have listed above provided for the average three-star rating of the hotel which as I said has the potential but it needs to strive...

We booked there after reading positive comments but our experience was severely dissapointing.|First of all, we stayed at the main building of the complex, where the reception, which is, I think, the oldest. The hotel is located a bit more than 1 kilometer away from Bansko's center and the lifts.|The room was on the third floor and it had the sape of an attic. As a result it lacked a proper window and thus, it was not the brightest. From the first night we experienced a vary irritating situation in which the bathroom lights were keep dimming and eventually turning off, probably due to voltage fluctuations. Every night we basically had light in the bathroom for a few minutes.. Also, we experienced a water shortage for about 30 minutes but this is probably not the hotel's fault.|The breakfast had a variety of products but the quality was poor and as a result we both got sick the last day.|The staff was sometimes rude and in general unhelpful with the exception of the staff working at the spa facilities.
