This family-owned and family-run hotel is a true sanctuary for travelers seeking warmth, comfort, and authentic Bulgarian hospitality. It’s no wonder so many guests return year after year. Whether you’re an avid skier or snowboarder, or simply looking to unwind, this place offers something special for everyone. Each guest is made to feel welcome, with attention to even the smallest details. The home-prepared meals are a highlight, featuring some of the best Bulgarian dishes like Kapama and Banitsa, alongside an excellent wine list to complement the dining experience. The breakfast is equally delightful The maisonette rooms are our usual choice - cozy and spacious, with comfortable mattresses, mini-fridges, safes, and a working area. The skylights offer stunning views of the clouds above, while the balcony showcases breathtaking vistas of the Pirin and Rila peaks. After a day of skiing or hiking, book the downstairs sauna, indulge in a massage, or do both. The staff is always ready to provide excellent advice on hiking and ski routes. The rooms are equipped with TVs featuring premium channels like HBO and Cinemax, and you can easily connect your tablet or laptop via HDMI for a more personalized experience. No matter the season—summer, winter, or offseason—this true family hotel excels in creating a welcoming and luxurious retreat. Be sure to ask for the daily specialty at dinner; the surprises are always worth it! There is also a very comfy Benz 4Matic omnibus for direct and hassle-free travel transfers. The owners’ deep knowledge of the town’s history and attractions adds an enriching layer to the stay. Guests leave not just feeling relaxed but also more connected to the local culture. If you’re looking for a cozy, warm, and utterly delightful experience, this hotel is a a true gem and a must-visit.

Nice clean n comfy room. Only 35 leva per night including breakfast (with home made jams!). Decor dated, but reflected in cost. Beautiful view from bedroom balcony.

We stayed here for a week’s skiing holiday in February 2022. There are other more expensive hotels in town but we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bansko. This family hotel being run by Marin and Mariana is just perfect. The rooms are very clean and warm with lovely balcony views to the pistes. We plan to visit here again in the summer. Mariana will ensure that you eat well and Marin will ensure that you drink well. His Omicron red wine is beautiful and his homemade Rakia is fantastic. Unfortunately one of our party torn their knee ligaments of the third day of skiing but Mariana and Marin were constantly on hand to help her get around the resort with the help of Marin’s trusty Mercedes van. Don’t mess around with Gondola queues, let Marin take you to the top of the Gondola for a minimal cost. Marin will also pick you up from the airport and take you anywhere you like. Ask him to take you to the local hot springs (he knows the best ones). A must is to ask Marin to book you at his friend’s (Dinko) restaurant in the old town of Bansko- it’s fantastic- see for yourself. And for a really tiny cost, Marin will take you to the bottom Gondola station and pick you up again at the bottom station at the end of the day. There is a ski and boot room for your equipment. There is a lovely sauna area in the hotel but we forgot to make use of it. The old town of Bansko is a must and this hotel is a few yards from the main pedestrian area leading to the old town. Marin is a skier and Mariana is a snowboarder so they both understand your sport and your needs. We can highly recommend hotel and we look forward to a special occasion when we can sample Marin’a homemade wines which he kindly presented us with. Very well done Marin and Mariana - you don’t feel like clients at this hotel, you feel more like...

The "hotel"s major negative point is the lady running it. I arrived at 9 am on a Monday morning, she complained that i arrived early (i arrived a few hours before my friends) and that the room was not ready. She was irritated that I had to leave my luggage in the entrance hall until the room got ready. She remained unhelpful all through out our stay. The hotel offers the bare minimum in terms of services. It is located around 10 minutes walking distance from the slopes, and you can take the shuttle for 2 levas per person. The breakfast is modest, in line with the hotel's ratings. The bedsheets were clean, but the extra blankets smelled horribly. On our checkout day, the lady would not accept to let us use the dehumidifier to dry out our snowboard boots as we were not going to the slopes that day. Then she complained about us leaving our luggage since the taxi comes at 3 pm and our checkout was at noon. We ended up leaving the luggage in our friends' room. Will not stay at this...
