The Mill Hotel-Restaurant — Hotel in Nesebar

Situated between Old and New Nessebar, The Mill Hotel & Restaurant is a splendid venue for nice and unforgettable holyday.||The modern and unique complex is built around a very old watermill, very close to the bridge, connecting the ancient town, known as Messambria Pontika (2 000 years B.C.) and the newer area of Nessebar. The views from the hotel rooms are fantastic! In the front is the Old Town with its beautiful white-red ruins, shining under the sun, and all around is the sea, with its calm-blue waves and silver reflections. The location is very good, the two towns is very easy to reach and pleasant for a walk, and in addition there is good private parking especially for hotel guests.||The hotel atmosphere is very romantic because of the old exterior and interior elements, well composed with modern furniture and conveniences. The rooms and bathrooms are cozy, the balconies are large and sunny, and the pool is large and chic. The food is natural and fresh, well cooked, the Bulgarian cuisine is marvelous as are the special Bulgarian wines.||The staff are very kind and helpful, speak good English, the receptionists are bright and ready to offer some good ideas for exploring Bulgaria closely.||We had two amazing weeks at The Mill Hotel & Restaurant and we will never forget this sunny vacantion...

Fantastic location we can not fault. This is our first visit to Bulgaria after reading reviews listening to what others had too say about the hospitality etc we made this our September 2019 holiday destination.||Bulgaria is a beautiful place, though the tourism trade needs to be brought up to date, the hotel is in a fabulous position although it does need a make over, breakfast is average, rooms are clean and quite spacious. None of this can I fault. ||So down to the knitty gritty why would I not come back to The Mill. |Hospitality is very important to us and the service from front of house, bar staff, waiting on staff and lack of knowledge of English language is the most awful I have ever come across in all the holidays we have ever had. |There does not seem to be any management present or no leadership in this hotel. |Trying to find anyone from breakfast to evening bar service is none existent. We have found them all very rude and un-hospitable and for this reason we will not ever return to...

My story is not about the hotel but the restaurant ! On 28.07.2018 we were at that place. To say that we were disappointed is to say nothing! By the way there were 6 of us,4 from Sweden , one a native and me- from Russia. We ordered 2 coffee, an orange fresh, some beverages , dinner... sorry for details but they are very important ! After 35 minutes we finally had one coffee, an orange juice and melted ice- cream. We asked for ice cubes but in vain. They didn’t bring them. The second coffee wasn’t given too. After 2 hours even no signs of the main course!!! We were furious and asked for a check! Again 20 minutes of waiting... when the waiter finally came we expressed all our regret of being there. When I told that the service was awful because we were Russian speaking clients, the answer was YES!!! I can’t even imagine that it is possible in a civilized country!!!
