Хотел Панорама — Hotel in Veliko Tarnovo

I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. The panoramic views are absolutely beautiful and the rooms are comfortable, but that's about it.

1. They advertise free parking but (like many other reviews said) there are only a few parking spaces in front of the hotel and an employee led us to an underground parking where you had to navigate between beer kegs and crates of vegetables being delivered through very narrow spaces. It was extremely dirty and creepy. We had to park behind another client, and we had to guarantee we would be available if they were to call us if that client wanted to move his car. They told us that no one would park behind us and block the way, but lo and behold, someone had parked behind us when we went to get the car the next morning. We had to wait for the owner to come and move their car, before maneuvering through the narrow space in reverse.
2. They say they have a swimming pool, but to get to the swimming pool, you have to find your way through corridors and everything is very confusing. When we finally got there, the floor with the swimming pool (before getting to the actual swimming pool, like the actual floor of the hotel) was flooded with 5 cm of water. When we went to the reception to inquire about it, they told us "no swimming pool, there is problem". What an understatement!
3. The shower has great pressure, only problem is since there is no curtain, the pressure becomes a big problem, as it is impossible to not splash water everywhere. If you lower the pressure, the showerhead switches to bath mode.
4. Last and maybe least, the rooms are just very old and smell weird, which I would have overlooked had the rest of the experience not been so...

old rooms ... big price for just the scenery . A/C in the night stopped . A/C in the bathroom not propperly functioning, plug out of the socket, only 4 parking places in fron of the hotel ( hotel fully bocked) , thin walls ( at 10AM kids running and screaming on the hallways ( nobody to do something), ceiling old and ruptured ,water in the shower not fully hot in the night, old TV from 20 years ago ... no usb chargers ... no prices for the minibar (we needed to call Reception to ask about the prices) .... cigarette smoke coming thru thw ventilation from other rooms ....but at least the scenerry was great ( in front of the monument) , location of the hotel in the center, EGO restaurant with great food - very close ... i didnt went to have the breakfast ... i attached some photos ,but few cuz it was no point . just go to a cheaper location ,because it doesnt...

The bathroom is unacceptable. Thick black mould between shower wall tiles. And the shower door has been installed hanging open underneath and not installed on the floor. The shower water does not drain properly and spreads over the whole bathroom floor. There is another outlet on the floor but it is also blocked. We had to use the bathroom after our showers,standing in water on the floor brushing our teeth using the badin,as well as sitting on toilet with feet in water. Because of this bathroom problem the damp must have spread to the carpets sith a musty smell. Pokey bedroom and nothing modern. This hotel can definitely not be rated a 4 star only on its view. It needs a makeover. I give it only 1 star based on...
