Guest House Debar — Hotel in Veliko Tarnovo

Arbanassi is known for an expensive and luxurious place to be. However, I'm not fan of this, so I looked for something more simple and cozy. I found it in the Debar guest house. It;s on the end of the village, so it's away from the crowds and it is quite. There is still a view to Veliko Tarnovo which is nice. The garden is great, rooms are clean and comfortable. I only lacked an option for adding breakfast. However, the highlight for me is the host. The lady is lovely, she was constantly checking on us if we needed anything. She is really energetic...

We were five girls travelling around Bulgaria and we all agree that this was our favourite B&B. If you have a car, it is worth driving a bit longer to get there. The house is spotlessly clean, the garden is beautiful and the couple who run it couldn't be any friendlier. She cooked a delicious Banitza for breakfast....

It's more than a "Guest House". Indeed, it isn't a hotel and there is no room-service, but the rooms are comfortable, airco is working, bed is nice, people are friendly. The owner collected us from a railway station and after our stay of three days, he brought us to another (closer)...
