Smile Boutique Hotel by EHM — Hotel in Khan Daun Penh

We stumbled upon this cozy little boutique hotel during our short trip to Phnom Penh, and it turned out to be a great find. The place has a warm, welcoming vibe — from the clean, open lobby to the relaxing pool area and surprisingly spacious room.

We booked a room with a balcony, and honestly, for the price we paid, it felt like a steal, incredibly low. It had everything we needed and more — super comfy, quiet, and just right for unwinding after a day out.

Breakfast was a nice touch. Instead of a typical buffet, we got to order from a small menu that offered a mix of local dishes and a few international options. Simple but satisfying.

One thing we really enjoyed was the pool table tucked into the restaurant area — just steps away from the swimming pool. It made the whole place feel a bit more social and laid-back.

“Exceptional Hotel” Newly built hotel. Everything is exceptional. Very accommodating and attentive staffs. They allowed us to check in early for free. Location was a few steps away from the Vet Air Bus Terminal (which incidentally is also the owner of the hotel). Very clean spacious room, very cool air conditioner, great water heater and pressure. Breakfast was not buffet style but you could order anything and everything from their breakfast menu. I highly recommend this hotel especially if you are taking the Vet Air Bus to travel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was such a pleasure as anything we needed the staff was there to assist. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location is right next door to the VET bus station so it’s easy to take a bus to Siem Reap or wherever you like to go with ease. The breakfast was ok. We prefer to walk around the neighborhood for breakfast & lunch. They even handed us an umbrella to make sure I stayed dry.
