Excellent meal and service with some spectacularly handled complex meals. It was a little unexpected to get the Prime Wagu Ribeye butterflied fingernail thin but it was an exceptional steak. The seafood was fantastic and the tartare was wonderfully prepared in person. The staff were all fantastic and very attentive and the food selection was great. The venue itself is an amazing example of colonial architecture and design. Although I'll admit, I found the doorman a little off-putting as it felt a bit sad and denigrating to have him in a plastic and cloth costume of traditional Khmer armour, it came across as a dress-up, not a serious honouring of the culture. A place like Raffles should be able to afford realistic replica armour.
