Booked this standard twin bed for 3 days. Paid about USD25 per night.

To be honest, I don't do such a long review. But this hotel does have a few things i wanted to feedback.

The room are clean and nice. Shower are strong and hot. Wifi speed is strong. There is a restaurant at level 4 and sky bar plus a small pool at level 5.

Bed comfortable but it is the super hard or firm type. Unbearable stuff which I will not choose to stay in this hotel anymore. The policy of of No outside food allow in the room. Seriously?? In which country hotel does not allow their guests to bring in their own food? Even a burger or fruits or a pack of rice?

Understand that you have a business to run. And you does have a restaurant to serve food. But until 10pm only. Plus the surrounding does have any food stalls. The nearest that I can find is 300m away from the hotel. I have been traveling the whole world. For the first time, no outside food and the reason given was to deter food smell in the room? Your guests paid for the room fee and your job is to make sure you freshen up the room after usage. It is part of the payment for the room. It makes totally no sense at all.

I was given a level 3 room. Maybe I was unlucky as the level 4 and 5 is a restaurant and sky bar. The whole night the restaurant was have pots and pans noises and the bar was super noisy due to the music.

One main issue was the sensor light at the corridor. There is a window in my room facing the corridor. Your window shades is not sufficient to mask out the lights.

Everytime, when someone pass by the corridor, the ceiling light will be up. Thus disturbing my sleep.

Change the window shades please.

Plus the no outside food policy is ridiculous.

But I do applause for the no child sex notice in every room. That is encouraging.

Last but no least, will not stay in this hotel anymore.

The no outside food is definitely a deal...

The atmosphere is weird, it's laking something. The lobby was empty, felt cold and unwelcoming. The hostel is big, many floors, but I haven't seen anybody there. There is a very nice rooftop but empty it wasn't possible to socialise during my stay. Didn't have the traveler hostel vibe although of the nice rooftop.

The rooms weren't comfortable: the bed was very hard, the cushion was thin. They had AC though. The beds don't have curtains which was annoying each time someone came back from their night out or went to the toilets (or slept with their bed light on). There are lockers for your bag (use it).

The rooftop is really nice, with a bar and restaurant on the rooftop with the pool. I had the chance to see the view at night. The pool is not to swim but fine to cool down and float at the end of the day. I don't know why it was empty with no customers and no travelers when I got there. I loves that the hostel had this beautiful space.

The staff was super nice and welcoming, at the desk and the bar as well.

What they could do to easily make it better : change the lighting (more lights and change the bulbs for hotter ones, it now looks like an industrial basement and worse than an operating room) and add curtains.

Although I loved the rooftop (and the nice staff), I don't think I would come back because of the lacking comfort of the rooms, didn't have a...

Not recommended, worst experience of our Asia trip so far. Ended up with the manager threatening to cancel our bus trip to Siem Reap that we had already paid for. In a discussion ABOUT A TOWEL they wanted us to pay 20$ for.

When we went to check out, we were told we had to pay $25 because we stained two towels with blood (I think we would have noticed, you usually do when you are bleeding so much that you have to throw away a towel) and because the hotel made a mistake when charging us for the room.

When we asked to see the towels, they told us they had already been to the cleaners (so obviously not in the trash can). They still wanted us to pay the $20 for the towels.

Then they offered us the ridiculous option of cleaning the towels ourselves, knowing we had to leave within the next ten minutes. The whole conversation became extremely ridiculous when the manager became really loud then picked up the phone and threatened us to call the bus company to cancel our trip.

They could have said something immediately after cleaning the room and we would have had them cleaned, but to charge $10 for a towel out of nowhere is just the worst service I have experienced.

"Pay now" is probably the phrase you will hear most often if you decide to stay here. There are signs everywhere saying "No eating outside the room". Note that most rooms have only one window facing...

For the hotel I would give 3 stars, no window to the outside in the room (just to a corridor), no fridge in the room and noise coming up from the 4th floor and corridors (my room was located on the 3rd floor) so hard to sleep. However, if you use ear-plugs it was bearable. Maybe if felt pads were attached to the chairs it would limit the noise. Air con worked well, and they had a great pool upstairs with nice views for the city. So if you are expecting a budget hotel or a one night place to sleep, with a later night, I think that's a good place to stop. Otherwise it may be hard to get a good night sleep if you need one. For the Restaurant - I would definitely recommend visiting and would give it 5*. I had a really nice grilled ham-cheese sandwich, and one of the best khmer noodles (I think around 5$), my favourite. Passion fruit mojito was also very nice. And if you are a hotel guest, you get a coupon for a refreshing iced drink, which was a nice touch when arriving at the place.
