Stay:
Positive: Service: The front staffs and security are friendly and nice (until check out time). Room: Spacious and clean, however, it is slightly on the higher price ($75 per night for deluxe balcony room during low season)…so value for money is ok.
Negative: Check in rule: we were ask to leave our passports and ID as a deposit of EVERY GUEST for the room (I personally prefer putting cash down). They do not accept photocopies of your IDs. I find this quite excess because leaving something like a passport when you know you have to leave the country soon is not exactly comfortable for me as it would cost money and the time to renew and make one if it was to be lost. Additionally, I did find myself needing to use my passport for other purposes during my visit, so would have been nice to have my passport.
Hotel amenities: Upon check out, I was asked to paid for one broken clothes hanger that was already broken when I arrived. Even when I told them that it was broken, they didn’t listen and just demand me to pay. Thinking back, I should have reported it but I arrived late night (10 pm) already so I just wanted to rest. Another note, the house keeper was saying that I shouldn’t take the laundry bag that was in the room because it is for laundry service (aka for them to make money). Personally, I think as a guest paying full price, I am entitled to use the plastic laundry bag to store dirty clothes (whether I use their service or not).
Environment: this hotel accommodates a lot of tourist group, especially Vietnamese and Chinese, so it can get really noisy on your hotel floor while you are trying to sleep since they do not have sound proof mechanism built in to the room. Due to the nature of tour groups, the eating area during breakfast time was rather left messy and lack of availability and freshness.
Location: rather far from city central. A bit hard to find decent food/drinks around the area.
Conclusion: My word of advice is to please double check and take photo of the closet, sheets and other amenities before you settle yourself in (no matter how tired you are). For me, I am AVOIDING this place overall and please don’t stay here while you are on holidays. There are better places that charges the same price/less with better hotel environment and no ridiculous policy...

This hotel scammed us by keeping the US$50 cash deposit for a single "stained" pillowcase (US$7) and duvet cover (US$45!) - this was more than the cost of one night. They could not show us the "stain" and told us they had tried to remove it but the sheets were not even wet. The check out process is very long - it feels as though they are looking for reasons to keep your cash deposit. We were very careful because of the deposit but to no avail. Even if the sheets had been stained, considering the cost of pillowcases and duvet covers in Cambodia, US$52 is excessive.
We are not cheap - we tipped the outside car guards just for helping us for 5 minutes to help direct a driver to the hotel. Tuktuks and delivery drivers struggle to find the hotel as the sign is not very visible from the road.
They give you 2 room cards but only one works for the lift. If you lose a room card it's another US$20.
The room is relatively clean and well set out. The towels and bath robes were old and not soft. The tap has 2 settings - off or splashing everywhere. One of the taps in the shower did not work at all. The location is reasonable. There is a nice pool and a jacuzzi but the cover was on the jacuzzi.
Breakfast is decent but very underwhelming for a supposedly 4 star hotel. Artificial orange juice. Decent coffee. The Khmer food is nice but very salty - you can get better outside the hotel. The pastries taste frozen and defrosted.
The staff are very polite but do not speak much English - surprising for a 4 star hotel - and cannot help you with finding your way around the city. Wifi was quite good.
Overall, a very poor experience for a supposedly 4 star hotel. I understand Covid must have been hard on the hotel but this is...
Read more☆A strange Hotel☆ I first used this hotel as a quarantine hotel in a Covid-19 situation. Since then, I have used this hotel every time I travel to Cambodia.
However, at some point, dissatisfaction with the service began to appear. So, I did not use this hotel for a considerable period of time, and I posted the reason why I did not use this hotel.
And I wanted to check whether there had been any change in the service of this hotel, so I made a reservation during this business trip, and I checked into this hotel yesterday afternoon.
However, very unfortunately, this hotel still has not changed its services.
Wi-Fi connection is not working well in my room. Even if the connection is established, it is very weak and immediately leads to a Wi-Fi service interruption I called the employee last night, and the employee came to my room and tried to connect to the Wi-Fi, but it did not work. The employee said he would send a professional to my room tomorrow morning. However, it is now 08:05 am, and there has been no call. And, of course, the staff did not come to my room.
I made a reservation for two people, but I was alone at the time of check-in Maybe that's why they only issued a breakfast coupon for one person this time. (Even if they issue a coupon for two people, I can't eat for two people. Of course, drinks are provided. If you have a coupon for 2 people, you can drink the amount for 2 people)
I think I should now boldly throw away my love for this hotel.
I hope this will be a...
