CLEAN, QUIET, & CONVENIENT B&B. GREAT-VALUE FOR THE ROOM & SERVICE YOU RECEIVE
Cambodia was the first stop of our Winter 2013 South East Asia trip and we were lucky to find a room for three at Bou Savy Guest House. We stayed here for three days exploring Angor Wat and Siem Reap. The guest house is tucked away from the noisy and dusty main road -- as your rickshaw driver turns off the main street, you will walk into the quiet and peaceful sanctuary that is Bou Savy. Look up at the trees and notice the sense of peace and tranquility present at this Guest House. After taking your luggage, the friendly workers, caretakers, and their families will greet you with a smile and welcome you with a much-needed fruit drink.
Our room was simple yet immaculate. We had two beds and enough room to store our suitcases and even to hang a laundry line. The room were very quiet; noise from the city or other guests was not an issue. Remember to take off your shoes before you enter as it is the custom here and helps them to keep the floors clean. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast (included) downstairs in the main lobby and picked from a variety of Asian and Western foods. I highly recommend the fried noodles or noodle soups but the toast and eggs were tasty too. If you are hungry for lunch and dinner, the cafe remains open and offers a decent but simple selection of dishes and drinks.
When we booked our room, we were offered a complimentary pick-up from the airport. Rithy (it sounded more like "Grah-tee" when he pronounced it), our rickshaw driver who also worked at the guesthouse, picked us up from the airport and asked if we wanted to hire him for our stay here. He was very friendly and spoke English well so we accepted. From Grati, we learned about the history of Angor Wat and the Killing Fields, we experienced the local fruit market, explored the local fruit market, and tasted Cambodian street food. He definitely made our time in Cambodia much...

This charming family-run hotel offers an incredible combination of spacious accommodations, friendly service, and great value, making it an ideal choice for travelers.

One of the standout features of Bou Savy is the size of the rooms. They are generously spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the nearby Angkor Wat temples. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay, including air conditioning, a private bathroom, and free Wi-Fi.

Read moreThe best place to stay in Siem Reap for me. The place gives off an authentic peek into Khmer culture and a very homey feel. The facilities and the rooms are awesome. I would prefer it over hotels, I like how local it is. The foods are like home cooked meals which are amazing as well as the service. They also have a pick up service. We arrived very late in Siem Reap but we were picked up by the guest house's tuktuk. It could also be rented if you want to go around Siem Reap. Free bottled water is also part of the package. The tuktuk drivers are also the hotel staff and are very friendly and trustworthy. We even met the owner of the guest house! I love the whole vibe of the place. The place is full of plants and the pool was situated beautifully complementing the the surrounding plants. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to come in Siem Reap and immerse themselves in the...
