Loved everything about our stay at Mango Kesararam. The rooms were awesome, it's in a quiet, tranquil neighborhood, but the best part about the stay was the owner. ||The owner/ manager was incredibly nice to us, and very accommodating. We arrived pretty late at night (11pm), and immediately were asked if we needed anything to eat. He was also up in the morning (4:30am) to make sure we made it up for our sunrise tour of Angkor Wat. When we returned he was happy to welcome us back with a cold towel. When we were sitting out in the common area making a plan for the next day, he brought a plate of the best fresh mangos, and he really took his time giving us a number of recommendations, specific to our needs the following day. Our flight was in the evening on the next day, so he let us keep a room key after checkout so we could shower if we wanted to before our flight. Our group is pretty well-travelled, but we've never had this kind of service before. |Besides the service, the rooms are wonderful, top notch! The style of the room is very cool, with a very modern bathroom and really comfortable bed. (The owner also mentioned that if needed, there's a pull-out couch upstairs that he lets travelers stay on for free). ||Next, the value - it is incredibly cheap for the service and accommodations that you get. The location takes only cash (USD, Euro, or local currency), but you can pay at any time during your stay and there are plenty of ATMs for local currency or USD. The rates could be so much higher, especially for Western travelers, but that's not the objective here at all. Immediately upon arrival you understand that this is a place meant for travelers to stay and enjoy Siem Reap, not to get rich. ||Last thing - the location is very accurate on Google. Some guides / tuk tuks / other transport may not know you can drive into that street (by a pagoda), but the location is accurate and should be followed quite literally. ||This is the place to stay...

A Wonderful Stay – Truly the Best Hotel of Our Trip!

We’ve been traveling around Asia for almost five weeks now, and Siem Reap was our fifth stop. Out of all the hotels we've stayed in during this trip, Mango Kesararam Hotel has been by far the best!

We stayed here for 8 days and absolutely loved every moment. There are so many reasons why this place stood out, but what truly made our stay exceptional was Mr. Heng, the owner. He is incredibly kind, observant, and attentive to all his guests. He somehow always knew the perfect time to clean our room, so it was ready and spotless just when we returned to rest. Even more impressively, he anticipated when our two little ones wanted to swim and had towels ready for us before we even headed to the pool. It’s rare to meet such a genuinely humble and thoughtful host who truly cares about his guests’ comfort and safety.

The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The furniture and décor really give you that “holiday” feeling—relaxed, calm, and cozy. Our family room was spacious, with high ceilings and plenty of room for the kids to move around. The bathtub was also something that our little ones loves!

Location-wise, the hotel is in a great spot—quiet yet conveniently close to everything. As a family traveling with young children, and me being currently pregnant, the accessibility and peacefulness were especially appreciated.

We are genuinely thankful to Mr. Heng for making our stay in Cambodia so memorable. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay...

We had a brilliant time staying at the Mango Kesararam. Heng is a wonderful host, even before arrival he was in contact to organise a tuk tuk transfer from the airport. The hotel is located within a small temple complex, there is always people around which gives the are a lovely community feel. It also feels a unique experience to see monks going about their everyday tasks, their freshly washed robes hung out to dry. Once at the hotel we were warmly greeted with refreshing cold flannels and fruit - a daily, very welcomed treat! Our room was great, two single beds and a king size double. The bathroom was large with an en-suite toilet, shower and huge egg shaped bath which my 6ft tall husband delighted in being able to fit in. The hotel has a pool which is fantastic after a day exploring in the heat. Heng was very helpful in organising our time and trips. We arrived with only a vague plan and he helped us to work out the best schedule and organised drivers and tour guides for us. He also had good restaurant recommendations, many of which were in sync with recent online traveller reviews. Heng also arranged for our laundry to be done at a very reasonable price. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Heng and his team we're invaluable in making are Cambodia experience not only enjoyable but extremely special.

Hotel owner Mr. Heng made my stay in Siem Reap comfortable AND memorable. As a solo female traveler, I really appreciated how he went out of his way to make sure I was safe wherever I would go, to the point of personally taking me to where I needed to go. He said that he wants guests to treat his hotel like a second home, and he succeeds in this. (Fun fact: I accidentally left my heirloom ring in my room and he went to great lengths to ship it to where I was immediately and even continued contact up to the point that I confirmed receipt of the ring. I will be forever grateful to him for this). I want to go back to Siem Reap just so I can stay at his place again and experience his warmth and hospitality. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Toilet and bath are also very spacious. Hot shower available and is the best thing after a long day of exploring the Angkor complex.

We had our first stay in Cambodia in Siem Reap at this wonderful place for 8 nights. Located behind a temple in the centre of Siem Reap gives you such nice calm khmer vibes that you are always happy to come back after an adventurous angkor-day. It feels instantly like home, also because of the overwhelming friendly host Mr. Heng! He will do everything to give you the best advices, organize the best and for your budget suited tours (he is also a professional tour guide) and is always available for a smooth conversation. If you come to Siem Reap and looking for a wonderful Room and a peaceful & soulfoul place to stay, this is the place. Many Restaurants are near by a 5-10 minutes walk. My recommendations: Try Me & My Little Cafe (both perfectly for vegs & non vegs) Thank you for the perfect stay!
