The hotel is lovely, the rooms where amazing. The only thing that lets this down is the area around the pool. The decking is collapsing and needs replacement and the sun beds are all either dirty or collapsing. There is also 2 "hot tub" like pools, that really need emptying and cleaning. If you can live without the pool this hotel is great! If your like us and want to relax around the pool after a long day at the temples then your booking the wrong hotel.
We changed hotels after just one night but felt really bad about it in the end. We think we came on a bank holiday and they where very low on staff. On the day of arrival everything was nice and clean but the pool had a huge layer of flies and leaves on it. There was only around 2 workers in the hotel when we arrived.
The next day after we booked another hotel, the pool had been cleaned and the room was made up with flower petals. The swimming pool had been cleaned. It was amazing. But unfortunately we'd already booked another hotel.
It's worth pointing out that COVID has hit Cambodia really bad so a lot of hotels out there are struggling financially. This I imagine is the cause for the lapse of standards around the pool. Looking around Cambodia it looks like many hotels and businesses are in the same situation. It is still worth coming to visit, as everything's that little bit quieter so you can really enjoy Cambodia with out the concentration of tourists it...

This resort promises everything it delivers in terms of an AMAZING room, and SUPERB service. The staff make you feel so welcome upon arrival, and that level of personalization doesn't faint away whatsoever during your stay. While a little bit away from the heart of the action of the Night Market and Pub Street in Siem Reap, it's akin to a quiet oasis out in the heart of the countryside. A very short (2-3 minute) Tuk Tuk ride from the hotel, and you're in middle of the buzz of central Siem Reap.
Sadly the resort falls short in the dining department. The buffet breakfast is limited, standard continental. If their breakfast dishes (those that weren't part of the buffet) could actually be somewhat edible, I would easily give it a full 5 stars. Some of the buffet items like cereals and breads were chewy, more than likely from the humidity... They may want to invest in smaller packaged cereals to retain their crunchiness.
Is happily come back to the resort, and hopefully they'll have worked out their issues in...
Read moreI could write a book about how wonderful this place was, but I'll try to keep it short and sweet.
The rooms, as you can see, are beautiful. The decor was gorgeous, they were clean, had lots of good amenities, fancy tubs, and were very comfortable.
The breakfast in the morning was delicious. They had enough options and would cook you an omelet to order.
The staff! Every single member of the staff was wonderful. We had personal, real life conversations with a number of them. They were all so kind and helpful and personable. And so hard working. This hotel is awesome because they work hard to provide opportunities for people who otherwise would not have them. Every tuk tuk driver we had was great. Mr. Aiy and Mr. Bean we used most and they were both wonderful. We saw such good things in Jenny, the manager. She seems like a true leader, investing in her staff and teaching them true leadership.
To sum up, this little hotel made us so comfortable and welcome and was one of many reasons we fell in love with the people...
