P5 Angkor Residence — Hotel in Siem Reap

Stay here! It is not a recommendation, but a must! 😄

We had an amazing stay at P5 Angor Residence! We arrived early in the morning to Siem Reap from Phnom Penh and got picked up by hotel staff at 5.30am! Accommodation is fantastic! Beds are comfy, there is aircon in the room. Usual tea and coffee making facilities. Towels included. We stayed in a family room with 5 large beds in two separate rooms, plenty of space for a family of 8.

Hotel has a pool and the water is quite cold, which is great after sweating all day in the 30C heat.

Breakfast is simple and we didn't have all the options available. Common with more budget friendly accommodations, so we were prepared for it.

Mr. Khun at the hotel is an outstanding person and provided so much helpful information to us. Small tour from the hotel to the three main temples; Angor Wat, Angor Thom and Ta Thom cost US$15 and takes good part of the day. He provided us with some ice cold water which was fantastic and haggled a good price for lunch.

Siem Reap is still recovering from the effects of Covid and many places are not as busy as they used to be before 2020. This means options are more limited as tourism is not...

This hotel is just off the main road, making it a quiet, serene oasis in siem reap. It’s between the louder / touristy pub street area and the temples, making it an easy tuk tuk ride to either one. Chantha, who manages the hotel, arranged to pick me up at the new airport. He helped with getting me a tuk tuk driver for an all day trip to Angkor wat, ta Phrom, etc… the driver provided mentholated ice cold wet towels to beat the heat… wow!!

Can’t say enough good things about p5. Staff is attentive and friendly, the pool is lovely, rooms are clean and comfy, and you will be well taken care of :)...

I had an unsatisfactory experience at this P5 Angkor Residence. After staying for just one night, I decided to leave.The rooms left much to be desired as they appeared old, worn, and tired, indicating a need for renovation.The breakfast provided was mediocre, failing to meet even basic expectations.While the staff did their best and attempted to be accommodating however I left and found that there are far superior options in the surrounding area close by.
