I really wanted to love this place and the staff are great, but a lack of sleep after 5 days was exhausting, and not being able to get a sunbed at the pool is disappointing. Simply not restful nor comfortable.

STAFF – wonderful. So friendly and warm. And I mean everyone – bar staff, reception, cleaning team. Definitely the strongest part of the hotel.

ROOM – simple but large and well-equipped incl. fridge, tea making facilities, toiletries, hair drier etc. Set-up is strange (for all rooms except ground floor) - you kinda have a balcony but it isn’t attached to your room so it isn’t private. Imagine a public path running through your garden, that’s what it is. So not a private balcony. Air con is good. Shower is strong but hot water can run out quickly. My view was of a roof of the building next door.

NOISE – The noise from upstairs simply walking is incredible. Unfortunately, my neighbours upstairs stayed up late so there’d be thumping in the early hours and waking me up several nights. They also seem to be in all day every day, so an afternoon nap was out of the question. I asked reception for me to move (maybe not all rooms are bad) and asked them to ask upstairs to step more lightly – but nothing happened / changed.

FOOD – Breakfast is rather limited for a 5* hotel but nice enough. The restaurant is yummy but it’s so hot up there on the roof that after the first night having dinner up there, I just couldn’t bring myself to sit up there again. It’s fine at breakfast as the sun hasn’t been on it all day, but it’s just insufferable by evening. Lunch by the pool is lovely. The food really is delicious (Khmer Curry and Fish Amok are solid 5*).

POOL – A big reason I chose this place. Quite large, but very snug. It’s set in (a very pretty and well-kept) courtyard so there’s zero breeze and you don’t get much sun to bath (if that’s your thing) due to the lovely trees. Annoyingly twice I went late afternoon to have a smoothie, a lie down and read my book, and couldn’t get a sunbed so just...

fantastic spacious, cool and clean rooms. Attentive and kind staff. Great location !! full laundry service next door for 1usd a kilo. Lovely small cafe across the rd for a tasty eggs benny and super cold beer! We were some of the first tourists post covid and sadly lots of hotels had closed and Some have gone into disrepair.. We originally were booked in a different hotel but on the first night we had power cuts so we changed hotel… however the next hotel had no wifi. We were so thankful to find this gem. Everything worked great, fast wifi, powerful air con and no power cuts! Good hot water and pressure, Beds very comfy with crisp white bedding and towels. This hotel was by far the nicest and best value, the pictures on booking.com are exactly how This hotel looks… unlike the 5 we looked at before! Lovely pool area and reception. Hotel meticulously clean. reception staff, Jessie and team gave us such a warm welcome.. after a nightmare few days, nothing is too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make our stay stress free and memorable. We travelled with 2 small children and the staff were so kind and accomodating that we didnt want to leave so we booked an extra week! restaurant was closed but there is so many cheap and amazing eateries in walking distance that also offer free delivery thru an app that it didnt matter. You can order anything you wish and it will be at your hotel door in 10 minutes, food, groceries, medicines, make up, toys.. such a great service… but highly addictive and everything is so cheap. We initially stayed in the family room and it was perfect.. 2 huge beds, balcony and lots of room for luggage etc. The second week we upgraded to the suite which had 2 rooms, 1 large double bed and 2 x queen singles .. kids loved the huge bath and massive balcony ! I loved the ample storage, generous floor space and telescope. This is a 5* hotel...

Just stayed here 3 nights with my boyfriend when we first arrived in Siem Reap. Free airport pickup personalized by your name which is pretty cool. Didn't need to wait for any taxis or load into some shuttle bus with 8 other tourists going to similar places.

The staff were on point from our first greetings to our goodbyes. Every body is there to say hello and greet you with a smile. Sometimes the niceness was a little over whelming everywhere you went every staff member on shift wouldn't let you go without asking how you were, but who's to complain about staff being TOO nice. Haha..

We stayed in two different rooms, both being very nice. Moved rooms for a better view which they accommodated for us no problem.. Very big, modern, new rooms. Incredible size of a bath tub which filled up with hot water no problem. Awesome rainforest shower head. Smart TVs which included YouTube to watch.

We indulged in the room service alot and everything we ordered was delicious. Of course our bill at the end came out to a lot with the USD priced and us being Canadian. But still, cheaper then we would pay back in Canada so we can't really complain.

The breakfast buffet was delcious. Really good eggs, made perfect every time. A cheese plate with baguettes! Of course a variety of fruits and different local dishes.

They arranged Tuk Tuks for you no problem, a little pricey compared to other local Tuk Tuks charging for a full day of Angkor Wat tours but every driver was very nice and we enjoyed our time.

The only thing I would have preferred was that the hotel was closer in town since you can't really walk anywhere.

All in all though the hotel was awesome and I would...

Agree with other low reviews that there seems to be a LOT of noise from upstairs rooms. This badly affects your sleep and ability to relax and enjoy your room. You can hear people in the pool from very early in the day, so unfortunately no chance of a relaxing lying in. My room had mosquitoes in it on several occasions. When I killed them, there were more that came. So makes me think if they are getting in during room services. Certainly when you sit on the balcony you see many mosquitoes. The property is half way between Angkor and Siem Reap so it’s kind of in a middling nowhere. Unless you want to walk into Siem Reap, you’ll need to pay for a tuk tuk, maybe a couple, per day. The gardens are lush and green, which is nice. However they are overgrown. So if you’re trying to get to your room you might have to duck below or wiggle through the vegetation. If it’s wet then you might get wet trying to get to your room due to the vegetation getting in the way. Also, the paths get very wet during heavy rains, like mini rivers which again can cause some problems. Service was always with a smile so giving as many stars as I can because of that.
