I’ve stayed here multiple times over the past 10 years but I will never stay again after my last 3 experiences. This last stay I was emailed a suite upgrade with club lounge access. The restaurant food is mediocre at best. The suite I was upgraded to had a television in the bedroom that would not go off the ac/ heating fan was right next to the bed and buzzed through the night the room alarm went off at 3:30 am and I got credit card alert at 3am for my dinner bill. On my last stay I requested a premium liquor and they had to tell me the price and ask if it was still okay to order it. As I booked a 4 star rated hotel I don’t expect to be asked if it’s okay to pay for something I ordered. On this last visit my confirmation showed club access and when I asked the front desk was again asked if I was a gold elite member or higher when the reservation they sent me stated it clearly but don’t bother with that option as there we’re literally 6 different chocolate bars green bananas and some pringles as chips. I was told no hot food on weekends after reviewing my reservations showed the front desk manager and he said it didn’t show on their end basically calling me a liar after my last stay I agreed to give them another chance but I will never let that happen again.

We recently stayed at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel for a one-night layover while flying back from Cancun, and it was the perfect choice! With two rooms for our group, we found the hotel to be incredibly convenient, as it is located right inside the airport terminal—you can’t beat the ease of simply walking from your flight to a comfortable room. The check-in process was quick and efficient, which we appreciated after a long travel day. Both rooms were spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The highlight for us was the super comfortable beds—exactly what we needed for a restful night before continuing our journey. The showers were also fantastic, with great water pressure and luxurious amenities to help us unwind. Despite being at the airport, the rooms were remarkably quiet, allowing us to get a peaceful night’s sleep. The hotel also offers a range of amenities and dining options, making it easy to relax and recharge. Overall, the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a convenient, comfortable, and high-quality stay during your travels, this hotel is an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again!"

This place is such a beautiful hotel , very clean elegant 5***** for sure. Great rooms so pretty big bathrooms are stunning I love the big walk in shower. The view was great. Watched the airplanes come in. It's quiet can't hear anything. The food in the restaurant was great pricy but worth it. They have a lounge and a DJ and dance floor and it's attached to the airport so u can walk through the pedway into the airport and walk around there. The pool is amazing nice and big the hot tub is nice and big big workout room. The hotel smells nice and is totally worth the money. The staff at front desk was great and helpful, the guest service guy was great helped with all the luggage since I was broken and my husband was dealing with kids. And then gave us the scoop of the hotel and was ready once we checked in to help us bring our stuff to our room. All the staff was great they all came to talked to us and complement us on our kids . The kids danced on the dance floor. , So far the trip is working out perfect. Thank you for making our trip that much easier with kids that have not flown before.

Rooms are interesting, very high tech modern. The service is excellent. I've stayed there a few times before flying south in early morning. Much more convenient than a 4 am taxi to the airport. The restaurant food is always great and because it is spread out, it's not hard to find privacy, although it can be hard to get noticed by wait staff if you sit around a corner.

Hi-tech lights come on when you enter and off when we leave. I am certain there are many more high tech features I didn't even notice. When things work really well, we don't notice them.

However, high tech often falls flat. It sometimes seems the designer never actually stayed there. The bathroom looks beautiful, but it you are sitting on the toilet - you can't see the toilet paper, and if you suffer from inability to do basic yoga poses, you can't reach it. The designer did resolve the which side out question, by tipping it on the side. So now we can argue about left and right sides instead of inside/outside.

The sink is small, inset, and rectangular. I cannot imagine trying to wash my hair, or a baby in it without hurting something.

The shower is very spacious, great for myself and wife, but... It's not possible to set the water temperature without entering. It starts with a spray, far overhead, which must be entered while testing the temperature. The door and shower head are positioned such that entry or exit while the shower is running, sprays water everywhere. Exit at the far end is not possible.

The soap holder in the shower is way down at the far end. It's a wire frame with no body, so it holds the shampoo bottles, but not the soap or a razor - both fall on the floor at the first opportunity.

The bathroom door does not quite shut... So any toilet noises travel far. More so for us, due to the fact that we never turn on the TV.

The room lights are interesting... But they throw a lot of glare and some seem intentionally set to make interesting reflections. Pretty. Yes. Functional? No.

There's a beautiful full length mirror, unfortunately right in the entrance, where I was constantly worried I might crash into it with my imbalanced extended suitcase handle.

Turning off the nightlight while in bed was another adventure. The switch is high on the wall such that I almost had to get out of bed to reach it. And that's after searching several closer locations for the switch.

My last thought applies to many hotels. King size bed. I've been married 45 years. Simply put, a king size bed keeps us too far apart. I travel a lot, sleep in a lot of hotels and beds, and know what I want - a queen size bed. But it seems rare to get one.

Nice place to visit. I wouldn't want...

Just stayed here this past weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary again this year because we enjoyed our stay here so much last year... Once again we were blown away with how amazing this hotel and the staff are! They really went out of their way to make our anniversary unforgettable! They as usual set us up with a great deal we were able to have both parking and breakfast included in our rate which really is a phenomenal deal because you get to order your breakfast off a really impressive menu *side note the original pancakes are absolutely to die for! My husband loved them so much he even ordered a second order! We couldn't resist  *i ordered the side fruit and requested melons only as I find most berries hurt my teeth (the stupidest seeds) and they were more than happy to accommodate my request. And they gave me so much it was heavenly! *our server I can't remember her name but she worked in the bar side and it was her first time working a morning type shift and serving breakfast, she was so helpful and kind I was really impressed with how helpful and attentive she was! We originally thought we would be staying in the same room we had last year which we loved but this time when we headed up to our room we were surprised we had to keep walking down the hall until we reached the very end, when we opened the door we realized they set us up with a king suite it was AMAZING! It was huge, there was a living room with thus super comfy couch and huge t.v. With floor to ceiling windows, a little kitchen space with a fridge, plenty counter space and a keurig coffee machine. The bedroom was massive with a huge t.v. Plenty of floor to ceiling windows and closet space. With a massive ensuite bathroom with a giant oversized shower! Lastly I just want to finish up with all the staff are actually so kind and helpful literally everyone from I think his name was justin (sales manager), the servers in the restaurant (as mentioned above as well), the restaurant manager who came over and talked to us at breakfast can't remember his name but he was really cool talked to my husband about working out... The front desk staff Hasitha, Minette and Shiela also so helpful and awesome left us wanting to come back ASAP. I'm sure we will be back soon for a birthday or something cause this place is well worth every penny if not for the hotel its self but for the exceptional customer service! Thank you Renaissance for consistently making our anniversary...

I recently had the pleasure of returning to the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel for the 7th time, and once again, it did not disappoint. I stayed for 3 days this week and found the experience as excellent as ever.

Your Associates: The professionalism, friendliness, and helpfulness of the staff were exceptional throughout my visit. Notably, Mohamed, the Guest Relations Manager; Samraat, the Assistant Beverage & Food Manager; and Talia, the Guest Services Supervisor, provided outstanding service. Their responsiveness to requests and problem-solving abilities truly enhanced my experience.

Check-In and Check-Out Processes: The check-in and check-out processes were seamless, thanks to the efficiency of the Marriott App and the welcoming nature of the front desk associates. The staff's friendliness and the smoothness of the entire process were greatly appreciated, making my stay hassle-free from start to finish.

Room Quality: The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The condition of the furniture, bedding, and amenities was top-notch, contributing to a relaxing environment. Despite the hotel's proximity to the airport, there were no noise disturbances, and the overall ambiance of the room was very pleasant.

Indoor Pool: A standout feature of this visit was the upgraded indoor pool area, which I had not seen since February 2024. The cleanliness of the whirlpool and pool was impressive, adding to the enjoyment of my stay.

Dining Options: Dining at the Halo Bar and Bistro Grill was a highlight. The quality and variety of food and beverages were excellent. The cleanliness and ambiance of the dining areas were above standards, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience.

Overall Experience: The Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel exceeded my expectations once again. The combination of top-notch service, comfortable accommodations, and excellent facilities made this stay memorable. The outstanding service from the dedicated team members really stood out and made my visit particularly special.

Cleanliness: General hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hotel, including public areas and restrooms, were well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Overall, the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel continues to be a favorite of mine, and I look forward to...
