I have visited different locations many times over the years and my experience at the Edmonton Airport location on Wednesday (May 1st) at around 2 pm was anything but pleasant.
We first off notice the greeting was very short and non attentive from the server. We then ordered ribs and asked if they had single orders of fries as we only saw yam fries listed, she said yes. Took our order without a smile or any comment, just walked away
Our fries came as Yam fries and the ribs were black and hard, not like they should have been or have been in the past. We had to wave her down as she had no interest in really serving us and when we politely said we received the wrong fries she simply said, well that's what you ordered and then just walked away.
About 5 minutes later we received regular fries and she just put them down, no comment and walked away leaving the yam fries. She walked by us several times not looking our way at all as we were trying to order another drink. I had to go up to the bar when she was behind it, and she simply ignored me long enough and I went back to my table. I then had to wave her down from across the room to order another drink.
While trying to meat the dry ribs, my partner chipped the front of her tooth to the tune of a $400(+) dental bill the next day.
We finally asked for the bill and she brought it over and simply said we have to go up to the bar to pay. Not once was there a question about how anything was or any type of apology or customer interaction unless we had to track it down.
Upon paying I did not want to tip at all but left 5% as I know the kitchen staff get some form of tip out. She looked at it and showed the other server and they both laughed right in front of us.
I am in the industry and manage a 250 (+) seat and it's all about the customer when they are right and we were nothing but pleasant trying to resolve our service issues.

Not only did she offer excellent recommendations, but she also took the time to explain the different dishes and their unique flavors. Phoebe's enthusiasm for the food and drink choices was contagious, making my dining experience all the more enjoyable.
Throughout my meal, Phoebe consistently displayed exceptional service. She was quick to refill my drink, ensure my table was tidy, and check if I needed anything else. Her attention to detail and efficiency made me feel like a valued guest.
Phoebe's professionalism and dedication were evident throughout my dining experience at the Canadian Brew House. Her passion for her work and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly remarkable. It's clear that she takes pride in her role and genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience for her guests.
I highly recommend her as a waitress, as she goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. Five stars aren't enough to express my gratitude for her outstanding work!

Read moreI came in to grab a beer as I was waiting for my flight. I ordered the tall mug of beer and it had about +/- 2 inches of foam at the top. I kindly asked the server named Kaylsyen to please fill my beer up to the top so that it would be full. She had the audacity to tell me, “you pay for what you get!” I was like, can you fill it up for me because it’s not full as it was obviously super low? She replied to me saying well, I'm just telling you what my manager would say!” I was like please fill it and that’s it.
She comes back with an attitude saying that she didn’t mean it that way, I was like, what way!? You already said it and the damage is done. I don’t deserve to be treated that way nor does anyone else. It feels like a slap in the face for a simple request.
This server has a bad attitude and needs to figure out how to deal and treat customers. I didn’t ask for anything free or wanted her to bend over backwards. She simply needs to find another job or deal with her attitude. When a customer asks for their beer to be filled as it had so much foam, fill it with a smile and that’s it!
