Last minute booking on a weekend in Blue Mountain is not that cheap, but I would say this is a great deal. For just $100/night, you also get a jacuzzi and inside pool. #livingstone #livingwater #hotel #bluemountain #collingwood #yayornay #bestdeal #jacuzzi #indoorpool #fyp #foryoupage❤️❤️

if I could give this negative 5 stars I would. Please read all the reviews you can/check Reddit Let’s start with when we arrived at the living stone golf resort. The hotel is under construction. The staff is very rude. There is mold and water damage throughout the hotel. The remodel to the hotel was done with very pour craftsmanship and is like it is only half done. Was a horrible experience from right when we stepped in the door. Has a bates motel feel. Next was the golf. I play golf almost every weekend where I am from. The staff at this course was very rude again (seems to be a very common trait at the property). The course was so backed up that we ended up only playing 12 holes and took almost 4.5 hrs to get there. We found out that there were workers from the resort/golf courses playing in front of us. We were waiting at the tees for 15-25 mins before we could tee off and there was two groups right behind us waiting. was a complete waste of time for us. Spa was nice but again the staff were not friendly and welcoming at all. Not a good look when trying to pressure people into buying into the time share. Next is the 90 minute presentation. This takes place at the living water resort. To start off we did complain right away about the living stone resort and the manger from vitality vacation came out to talk to us. We told her the problems we have had while there so far. She did switch us to the living water resort to try and fix things. But did lie to us about the living stone not being owned by this Mr. Larry law. Which was a big lie to try and keep us interested in purchasing time share. As he does still own the living stone resort. The lady that gave us the presentation was super nice and not to Pushy at all. But once we said no they took us to another room where we did feel very pressured. Please do your research about this The same owner of Living Water Resorts, Vitality Assurance Vacations, Law Development Group, Credit Corporation of North America Ltd. These are all the companies that seem to be involved in the time share process. Non of these businesses are accredited by the better businesses bureau please looking them up on the “BBB website” Please do your research on Reddit lots of information there. This will help you out to make a good decision for yourself. It may be good for some but not for everyone. As we were leaving there was another young lady in the elevator with us and one of the sales men was in the elevator. The sales man made multiple rude comments to us about not buying the time share from them. So Much for no pressure sales. Please do your research about this. Lastly was our stay at the living water resort. The staff were still rude and seem like anything you asked was a major inconvenience to their day. This resort was not under construction by the looks of it but still had a lot of building materials kicking around. This hotel was also dirty and beat up. Water damage again throughout this one. Looks like a 3 year old painted the room We were sent to. Not easy to navigate around the hotel. Landscaping was horrible. They are asking almost 40,000$ to invest in the property and then 1560$ a year in maintenance fees. I would not give them 1$ to stay here again. We where very interested in learning and possibly moving forward with a time share purchase as we are young and felt like we could get very good use out it of. But after this experience I would never do one or a presentation again. After the meeting we did a ton of research and found out a lot about them. What we thought would be a very nice experience for a get away for our 2nd anniversary and a way to get an introduction into time shares, turned into an exhausting, frustrating and horrible experience. Right from start to finish was a horrible time. You would think with the amount of reviews they respond to and say that it will be forwarded to management over the past years everything would change. These comments on the reviews seem to be more damage control as seems like nothing has changed over the years.

This place is what I'd consider a mid-low tier hotel with basic offerings with no easy place to get a comfortable drink or coffee in the lobby and where the front desk staff who don't know basic things like if their marina (a part of the "resort") has canoe or kayak rentals. We got hooked into this trip as a part of a promotion deal at a festival we were attending, they charged us $260 and gave approx $330 in coupons to their in house spa and restaurant and passes to the nearby movie theatre with the understanding that we would attend a 90 minute sales presentation for their vacation timeshare program. The spa was fine but not exceptional by any means, the restaurant was nice but the service was oddly poor for a "resort" and if you looked at the ceiling you'd see lots of unrepaired water damages and overall a poor quality of workmanship. This place is not designed with children in mind, which is great for some but do not expect your children to be entertained here, the pool is what you'd expect at a motel 6 and the playground is more basic than the one I've built in my backyard, there are no outdoor activities, no trails and no easy breakfast options. The sales presentation was a borderline cult seminar, they wouldn't tell you the price until the very last minute, they provided a "vacation cost calculator" that incorrectly calculates inflation, the cost of your previous vacations and gives you "highly alarming" spending patterns that could all be avoided by becoming a member with them. The jist of it is that if you give them $40k up front and $1550 yearly (which increases every year) you can stay for 1 calendar week at any of their 3000 partner properties world wide. You aren't allowed to return, you MUST purchase it right then and right there with no time to consider other options, compare packages and review whatever type of contract the expect you to sign.. They are obviously preying on uneducated people who are willing to hand over $40k (or finance at their ** ULTRA SPECIAL ** in house rates that you don't need to be preapproved for (lol)) without being able to review the contract, sleep on the offer, discuss it outside of that meeting right then and there. After we told the first sales rep no, she called her manager over to try to sweeten the deal, then after informing them that its just not the right time, we were taken to their final boss type sales rep who tried to egg on my ego and say I wasn't ready for their offer. The food was good, charging me $40 for a burger though and then only having lobby coffee from 6am-8am is just tacky. As you can tell from the tape job of the sign on the coffee machine, things are just rushed here, not very professional and overall pretty cheap.

We called the Living Water resort to attend a hockey tournament. During the discussion I asked about kids playing mini sticks. I was informed that would be fine provided that no one complained and the boys didn't damage anything.

We all arrived on the Thursday night and tried to check into the Living Water resort. When we arrived there was a sign stating 'Welcome **" (our team) However, the agent at the front desk informed us we had been moved across the street to the Living Stone resort. We drove across only to find the entire parking lot had been ripped up and the hotel was under major construction. Parking was a challenge and a couple nights a few of us had to park across the street at a local business and there was no room. Many had already parked on the grass and went into 4x4 mode and parked on stone piles. Upon check in we were told "no mini sticks". I was also asked to keep my sons gear in our car. I said that's not happening since hockey equipment is extremely expensive.

Regardless, we checked in and tried to go for a swim. We were then told only 10 people at a time were allowed in the pool and we'd need to book a time in advance.

We asked housekeeping if they would be cleaning our room, and they said "no!" (no other explanation) I asked about our garbage being emptied and they said we need to take it out ourselves.

On the Friday night all hell broke lose. The boys again were playing mini sticks and security came right out and said shut it down. A couple of our boys went to the front desk and explained their coach ( me) had said it was ok as per what I was informed. She then flat out called them liars and asked them to leave the office. I went in after and asked why she called them lairs and explained what I was told. She ignored me.

Later our parents were in the hall socializing. Now, to be clear we weren't whispering, but we weren't boisterous and rowdy as reported. Security approached us and said we weren't allowed to be in the hall. I questioned this and asked why, and he said it was hotel policy. I asked to see the policy and he said he didn't have it. One of our parents said we weren't being disruptive and it was only 8:30 at night. He then said "go to your rooms or I'm calling the police". I had directed the boys to their rooms at 10 pm for their curfew. There were other teams in the hotel and I heard in the morning police had been called. We were blamed for this.

On the Saturday the boys came back and between games 6 of them were playing mini sticks rather quietly. The front desk agent walked down the hall and simply stole the boy's nets and walked away. Our one player then walked into the office and retrieved his property. She once again called the police. However, this one backfired as they lectured her about taking personal property.

I had gone into Toronto for a concert with my younger son and returned around 1 am. As I drove in, I saw the police pulling in. I once again couldn't find parking and had to park across the street. As I walked back the police were leaving. The boys were told to get out of the halls by security and go to a room, which they did. A bunch were watching a movie in a room and the front desk called the police. The officer apologized to the parents and simply left annoyed. The police were called 5 times on our team, by the same woman. Each time the officers apologized to us for bothering us. To be clear, 2 other desk agents also apologized to us for her actions. One stated " I don't know what her problem is, I'll try to talk to her"

Clearly, we are not a group of monks practicing a vow of silence, we are attending a tournament, and the boys were just being kids. We had the entire floor to ourselves with exception to one couple placed right in the middle of our group. Thats on the hotel for poor planning. Another team was upstairs, and we could hear them running around all night.

Our boys also had to go across the street to use the pool as the woman began refusing them access to ours.

If you want to have fun,...

We got a deal for a stay at Living stone Golf Resort when we attended Toronto Auto Show 2025.There was a stall for ‘Vitality Vacations’ which sells the promotional deal for vacation at Living Stone, Blue mountain. We were planning to go for a mini vacation with our little son in his March brake. The deal they explained seemed very good, 2 nights stay with vouchers for dinning at the restaurant and for the Spa. They never mentioned that there are two sites at the resort 2 min drive away. They book the rooms for people who come with this deal in the site similar to a motel (Living Stone) not the the one they show when they sell it. No picture can found of this site when we google.Only address is there but they showed the pictures with nice view of the ‘Water resort’ not the ‘ Living Stone Golf resort’. We were so upset when we checked in because that is not the room or view that we expected. We contacted Vitality Vacation staff right away and they said they can’t do anything.Either they can refund the money next day or pay the balance to upgrade the room. The next day it was mandatory to attend for a presentation at the Water front hotel.Every member of the family is compulsory to attend other wise they gonna cancel the deal. Then we realized the true meaning of what they are doing. They are selling the membership and use the ‘reverse psychology ‘ to say you are going for a vacation and you get that kind of ‘small’ room but the members get luxury room instead.’ I totally understand their business tricks and can’t say that it’s wrong. And even the Living stone site is clean.Very good room service and nice staff. The restaurant staff and foods were so amazing with classic environment and music. I feel so disappointed the way they sell the deal though. They should have explained the 2 types of sites and about the 90 minutes compulsory presentation to attend.Everything is in the booklet they provide but we get it after we paid the money. They were so careful not to disclose everything. For me it’s not ethical even in business. We go for a vacation with kids to relax and escape from the stressful life. We had plans to celebrate my husband’s Birthday at the resort but we had to go through this with frustrated mind. We didn’t have enough time to book something else because we had all the plans already. We lost almost half of the day because of the mandatory presentation and didn’t have enough time to do activities at the blue mountain. We had to drive to the restaurant from the hotel room because the restaurant is at the water resort site. It’s not easy with small kids. My point is they would have explained these before we pay money .Who doesn’t like a good deal for vacation but money is not the priority. It’s the feelings, memory we make is the most important thing. People should have a choice when they get anything because it’s their money, time and feelings. It’s not ethical to hide part of conditions . We would’ve spent even more money than we spent there and go for a better place if we knew all these.

How ever, it was a nice resort but the ‘Business trick’ that the Vitality Vacation group use is...
