The battery was sticking out of the smoke alarm. By law don't you have to have working smoke alarms??? I emailed to let them know, but there was no response. Also, the curtains don't close all the way because they're too narrow for the windows. Anyone can see in, and they don't block out the light. The pull cord for the lights above the bed is broken. I didn't even know there was a light there until I noticed the fluorescent bulbs this morning when I woke up. The light in the kitchen doesn't work. There are cobwebs all over the phone. The bed is horrible and lumpy, and the pillows are disgusting. The place is really run down and shabby. For $200/night, I expect better. This is like a motel from the 1990s. Glad I'm leaving tomorrow.

Stayed here from Tuesday to Friday. The rooms were spacious and the setup is like a loft. There is a dinning table and full kitchen with fridge stove microwave etc. First room 1 queen bed with attached washroom. Second room is a loft upstairs with 2 double bed. There is another washroom attached to the living room. Both rooms have showers. Outside there is a bench for picnic. There is rec room at 5 minutes walk. Around the area there are many boutique shops and fastfood. All major retailers and grocery stores. Blue mountain village is 6 minutes drive. Overall it was a nice getaway. Two star less for price and beaten down beds.

We stayed the first week of July, and we went to fish and swim as much as we could. We found a lot of fishing spots and there were quite a few beaches for swimming. The only complaint is that the parking was $10.00/hr., with no refund for early departure either. Our stay was made better by Stephanie Cain, Leera Mendoza, and Jodie Kennedy. Each of these ladies enhanced our vacation. We would like to thank every one of them for improving our time there. Thank you

We had a great experience. I would give this place a five-star. Yes, it's a little older but it's still clean. Everything is up to date and it's modernized TV. Wi-Fi is available. They're very upfront about where the pool is where the amenities are, how that works. Just you know a couple little things that I noticed had nothing to do with the property but does have to do with the other guesses. They need to not treat the outdoors as their own personal backyard where they can be wandering around in their underwear. They can be doing the nasty out in the front yard. I mean honestly go to the back if you need to be doing that bringing in large trailers and putting them up on other people's lawns. None of this happened on my particular Villa but across the way so we're seeing it but this has got nothing to do with the management team at mountain view Villas. I would definitely recommend staying there. Just know that if you want tin foil the baggies plastic wrap you need to bring your own and extra garbage bags. If you leave something there and you try and contact him to see when you can go pick it up or make arrangements to pick it up. No one ever gets back to you and this is using multiple venues to try and reach them from calling a site themselves to leaving a message from slope to shore and for putting things...

We rented a one bedroom unit for a very inexpensive rate and was very surprised how large the unit was. It had a separate bedroom and there was a whirlpool tub in the main bathroom. there was also a loft with two twin beds and a huge closet, and a second three piece bathroom off the main room.||The kitchen was well equipped with lots of utensils, crockery, cutlery and pots and pans, many of them new. Also other utensils such as kettle, teapot and coffee maker.||Good wifi and lots of TV channels||Close to Collingwood and shopping.||The paintwork in the unit was excellent but a lot of the furniture had chips and dents. it did not bother us considering all the positives in the unit, but may concern some.||We also have problems communicating with the rental company prior to arrival, but they had an excellent response when we had a minor issue with the TV and the maintenance responded quickly and solved the issue.||Overall, we were very happy with our stay at...

It wasn't anything special. We had to use a voucher and booked this last minute. We went with our 1 year old. It was all ok at best. Felt like a small cabin and you get a full kitchen and we had two bathrooms which was nice. The room didn't have much space if traveling with your baby. No pool or park on site. We went one full day without A/C on the hottest day of our stay. Maintenance didn't come until 24 hours after the call. I had to fix the problem. Last people left the fireplace on and maintenance and housekeeping both missed it and so the day the A/C went out, the fireplace was running on low just cooking the place. I also had to fix the problem not knowing what i was getting into. That night we slept at 30 degrees with a baby ... Not good and no response. Everytime we called... No response until a day later or longer. No hot water for 2/7 days. Not fixed. Good parking and...
