I never want to destroy a business' reputation. So for that reason, it is neutral at 4 stars, BUT, if I was honest, it should be a 1-2 star.
Kitchen was fast Prices were competitive Food tasted incredible Service was not good (we were forgotten about all night)
I just hope that management will actually be on top of what is happening in their dining hall and/or don't avoid awkward moments. As a leader, you are paid to deal with issues involving customer service. Sometimes, a simple apology goes a long way.

From the moment we arrived, it seemed like everything was going smoothly. We were greeted warmly at the entrance, and our table appeared to be prepared for our arrival. Little did we know that our expectations were about to be shattered by the appalling behavior of the server in charge of our section.
As we were trying to settle into our seats, eager to enjoy a pleasant evening, our initial impressions were quickly shattered when the server approached our table with an air of disdain. In a tone laced with condescension, she informed us that she was not prepared to serve us. To say her attitude was off-putting would be an understatement; it was downright rude.
We were taken aback by her unprofessional behavior and found it completely unacceptable. It is not unreasonable to expect a minimum level of courtesy and respect from those working in the service industry. Unfortunately, this server failed to meet even the most basic standards of professionalism.
To add insult to injury, the server then had the audacity to demand that we move to another section of the restaurant. This request further demonstrated her complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Instead of taking responsibility for her own unpreparedness or seeking a solution that would accommodate our needs, she chose to inconvenience us further.
Feeling disrespected and frustrated, we informed the server that we would be leaving the establishment. Rather than expressing any remorse or attempting to rectify the situation, she callously replied, "Ask them to find a place elsewhere." Her dismissive attitude left us shocked and disappointed.
A dining experience should be an enjoyable occasion, where customers can relax and indulge in good food and excellent service. Regrettably, our visit to this particular restaurant turned into a nightmare, solely due to the behavior of our server. It is disheartening to witness such a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction, as well as a lack of basic professionalism.
It is my hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale to both the restaurant management and potential diners. A single rude server can tarnish the reputation of an otherwise decent establishment. It is essential for restaurants to prioritize employee training and enforce a culture of respect and professionalism among their staff members.

Read moreUpdate: it's been over a year since we have been to Montanas. We just went there for lunch. It was AMAZING! I don't know if it's new management or kitchen staff but the food was hot, fresh, in abundance and we will definitely go back again. Such a drastically different experience than before. Everything was so fresh.

Table of 6 Waited 15 to get drink orders. When we ordered food it was simple orders. Chicken fingers, burgers, fries etc. 2 dinners where messed up and gave us a dish we didn't order. They went back. We waited another 20 minutes to get our food. The food was cold. The gravy was sent back 2 times because it came cold and like a clumpy thick pudding paste both times. Eventually the servers stopped waiting on us. Offered no refill on drinks. The heavy set brunette behind the bar in the pink Hoodie was talking poorly about us to the drunk guy at the bar and staring at us so intensely I wanted to walk over and ask if there's anything I could help them with. It also was not busy. There were only 8 tables in the restaurant and most of the staff was standing around gossiping. It was honestly the most unprofessional petty thing you could do as a staff member. It was my daughter's birthday. Our moods were fantastic when we went it.
