I travel quite a bit for work and stay in some pretty nice hotels sometimes. This is the nicest place I've ever stayed. I've never written a review for a room before, but this place deserves it. Stayed here for 4 wonderful nights for work on the Island. The host was one of the friendliest ladies I've ever met and extremely accommodating. I stayed up on the 2nd floor balcony level and the view was breathtaking. The room was very clean, smoke-free, with fresh carpets and a spotless bathroom. Bedsheets changed daily. I was greeted with a homemade blueberry muffin and some granola bars that she left for me everyday after work, what a nice touch. Felt like I was staying at my Grandma's house. Tea and coffee in the room too. Internet could be slightly faster but I'm a hard person to please in this category and you really can't expect much better in such a secluded place like this. Read moreI stayed here one night in early April and wish I hadn’t made arrangements to move to other accommodation the second night. Lenore was so very welcoming and helpful. The guest room was delightful! A kitchenette/living room area, separate bedroom and roomy bathroom. The decor was cozy and so suited this century building. Vintage furniture and decorations, a comfy bed with extra blankets, thick towels and the kitchen had everything you need. A homemade muffin, yogurt and snacks were provided along with tea and coffee. Good internet as well. Best part for me was the veranda outside my room where I enjoyed my coffee in the morning looking out over the water. The grounds are beautifully designed and maintained. And a very reasonable price. A good restaurant is two minutes away. I would highly recommend....
