J & T Chinese restaurant — Restaurant in Daajing Giids

I don’t generally leave negative reviews, but this place was so bad I had to share. The service was horrendous- the gentleman who served us would not make eye contact, barely spoke to us and when he did, he was rude. My friend ordered the toasted BLT and I ordered the ginger beef and rice. Her sandwich came out first - it was barely toasted, the bacon was barely cooked and she managed to (slowly) eat her entire meal before my food arrived. I noticed the same pattern at other tables - is the cook not capable of cooking more than one dish at a time? My food was edible, and the portion was fairly generous- not worth the $28 I paid for it, but not the worst I’ve had. The worst part of the meal, by far, was having to listen to the cook ‘hawk-tua’ and spit throughout the entire experience- I was literally gagging because of it. I was tempted to complain, but based on the attitude of the waiter/owner (?) I knew I’d get nowhere with that. Would not recommend anyone to spend their hard earned money in this...

We arrived at 6:30 our order was placed by the server at 6:49 we did not receive any of our order until 8:10. Then it came in bits and pieces so instead of getting five dishes arriving within a few minutes of each other, there was 20 minutes between the arrival of the first dish so two in our group were eating their dishes and the other two waited up to 20 minutes more for there dishes to arrive. Totally ridiculous!

Our server checked several times on the status of our order. When we spoke to the kitchen staff they simply laughed and said oh sorry. No discount was offered. Absolutely the worst disorganized kitchen I've ever seen in 50 years...

Hard, very hard, pass. Incredibly rude server, I'm guessing owner? They're in the food industry, and he acted put out that we showed up to eat. How can you mess up a BLT sandwich?! Easiest thing to make and make it well. One of the owners and the cook got into a loud argument while we were there. Really?! No effort put into food or service. My advice, walk across the street to the Sea Raven. $48 for a blt sandwich, clubhouse sandwich and two cokes. If you're going to charge that outrageous price at least show some appreciation that...
