Ramada by Wyndham Fort McMurray — Hotel in Fort McMurray

Clean modern rooms w/ comfy beds however when compared to other hotels in the area with comparable suites, the Ramada could do better.

It has the advantage of having a full oven in the room which was nice for my extended stay. However, there were a few things I feel were missing for the rate you're paying...thermostat locked (stayed during summer heatwave - ac couldn't keep up), no ice machine in the building (ice buckets provided in room though?), no breakfast offering (or at least none advertised during check-in/front desk interactions), and no business centre despite being advertised.

I stay in hotels for work a little over five months a year and things like an ice machine or decent climate control are an expectation, fix those and this review would be...

Great room, nice and clean, but paperwall thin, you can hear people above or next to you answer the phone, flush the toilet, take a shower, etc. Staff was doing ok until my last day where i checked out, ask for a breakfest coupon and was told i had to ask it the day before that she cant give me one the same morning, although no one told me that if i didnt ask for the coupon i woudnt have breakfast... there is many hotel in fort mcmurray i go somewhere else next time where the staff power trip on not giving you a breakfest coupon that is included in your stay because you didnt ask for it when nobody told me i had...

Stayed for 7+ nights. Loved the 2 bedroom suites! Can't believe the space provided - 2 separate bathrooms/bedrooms, washer/dryer, living room space, and kitchen area! Secure underground parking is also available. The price was great; within my price range. Had no problems making changes to my reservation dates a few days prior to my trip (changed checkout dates) online. No gym or pool (but it wasn't important to me for this trip).
