So, the reason for giving the 1 star is due to hidden pricing. The pictures I'm posting shows how dishonest the owners are. Now, if you raise the price, you change the menu. Its call a printer. You have many printed off menus but not with the ones we ordered from. Its extremely bad for business and in my opinion, you have lost my business I definitely. For now on it Canadian Brew House that's just down the street from you. So to end this with this note. Owners are not trustworthy, they hide there jacked up prices. They refuse to give refunds. There portions are very small for what you pay. If you can't trust the owners then you can't trust there food, also you can't trust the business. Please dont get me wrong the food is good but its not worth being blind side for.
Its to bad that there dishonest and disrespectful in this manner
Return reply: Its called a printer, like the other menus you have. I guess its just being lazy. I didn't realize to top of the menu didn't show the price change in the picture. So, you expect your employees to go down the menu and let the customer know all the prices on the flyer. Seem lazy to me. Be a better owner. Good luck!
To let your staff know. There awesome and great people. Owner or owners,...
Read moreI went there yesterday for breakfast and was quite disappointed by their service. First, I asked the lady what type of eggs they have and May I order the over easy ones (just eggs, since I wanted that for my kids). She said that they only have scrambled egg. Then my husband ordered over medium eggs platter and they served him over hard. He complained to the lady at the front, she went back to kitchen and told them what he wanted but have came back to us and told us whether we are getting new eggs or not. Then she brought eggs and this time it was sunny side up with raw egg white on the edges of yolk. My husband is a chef, and he knows what he ordered so he asked for the chef who cooked it. When the chef came out, she said that this is soft eggs and that she learned it through online when it was 100% sunny side up. We gave up and ate what we could. There’s hollandaise was not consistent either. I think either you guys should hire people who knows how to cook and know what you are serving because clearly lady at the front desk knows nothing or just don’t have the option of different eggs. Very...
Read more11-2019 I wanted to update my review because the food was not very good last time I visited Cedars (downtown); it was still fresh and the staff was helpful, but the food was all very bland. My guess is that opening the new restaurant has probably split the staff and the good cooks went uptown. I have eaten Lebanese food for many years and found this really lacking. I was not going to write about it, except I passed up the chance to go again the other day, so if I'm now NOT going, then I should update my review. I see others recently have still had good experiences so perhaps my visit is just a fluke.
4-2019 Cedars is one of my favorite places to eat in Fort McMurray. The food is very good and made fresh in house; you can eat in or take out. They are friendly and keep the place clean. It is part specialty grocer and part restaurant. Tip, if you have never been, grab a drink before you order so you can pay for everything at once. Take your receipt and give it to the cook to complete your order. The steps are unusual so I just wanted to give...
