I recently stayed at this establishment and my experience has been nothing short of absolutely unacceptable. Upon being in my room a couple days I started to notice I was getting little bites that were getting worse progressivly through the short stay. I awoke one morning to find the culprits were In plain site and the room was infested with bed bugs. When I informed the front desk of the issue they assured me they had never dealt with it in there hotel. As they were explaining this to me there cleaning staff was walking past in full appropriate ppe with all the required chemicals and a quarantine bin not 5 minutes after reporting it. They were prompt in switching me rooms and assured me that my belongings would be properly sanitized and everything would be bug free and returned to me. When I went to inquire later that day on the progress of my belongings It was a new front desk attendant and she had no idea of the information I was told regarding them. Upon going to the laundry room I found all of my wet "sanitized" clothing had been thrown onto the floor and replaced with another patrons laundry in the washer. I took it upon myself to re wash and properly sanitize my clothes. My co workers were all staying at the hotel and were informed of my situation and when they called to the hotel to inquire what further action they were taking to prevent the spread to other rooms they were told by the staff that there was no bed bugs and repeatedly lied to them about the situation. I spent the next three days in talks with the hotel on the where abouts of my expensive luggage bag in which I was told they were advised by the pest control to allow UV treatment in the sunlight and that my bag would be returned to me. On the fourth day I was informed they had in fact thrown out my personal luggage bag without my consent. When I attempted to ask about compensation or reimbursement of another bag the manager was instantly defensive and rude about the whole thing. I was polite and curtious throughout this process even though I was distraught by the fact they threw my personal belongings away. I have given them ample options and opportunities to assist in replacing it and I have been met with distain and now silence. If you are a company looking to book your workers or just a family looking to use this facility I emplor you to look elsewhere. I am not ok with the treatment I received nor the bed bug bites that covered my body. I have informed the better business bureau and I will also be informing the rcmp of the stolen property. Read moreThis is my second stay here and the time before I stayed 3 nights. My first night there were not any King rooms available and I mentioned that I prefer a King. When I got back from work the next day the front clerk had a King room set aside for me. Today I booked in after 7pm and when I checked in they didn’t have any King rooms available and during the check in process, Harmon the front desk manager checked for last minute cancellations and found a King room for me. I went into the room and the toilet for some reason wouldn’t flush. I went downstairs to let her know. By this time I was getting frustrated and knew another King room wasn’t available and she said they have an upgraded King room with a kitchenette available and she waved the extra charges. Having missed the restaurant at this point I went back downstairs to ask her where I could pick up some groceries and she quickly googled Walmart and said it would be closed in 30 minutes. I was and able to not only get a King room, but she took what would’ve been a very unsatisfactory stay and turned it into a 5 star ⭐️ experience.
