Title: Super 8 Motel: A Diamond in the Rough Awaiting an Upgrade
Review:
If you're looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay, Super 8 Motel is a decent choice. However, it's hard not to notice the motel's need for a remodeling and upgrade. While my recent stay had its ups and downs, I couldn't help but envision the potential of this place with some much-needed improvements.
Firstly, the room I stayed in had a damaged bathroom, which was disappointing. It was clear that the wear and tear of time had taken its toll. The broken tiles and chipped fixtures were not exactly what I had expected. A renovation of the bathrooms would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience for guests.
The beds, though functional, were rather firm and could use an upgrade. A good night's sleep is essential, and the addition of more comfortable mattresses would greatly improve the quality of rest for guests. After a long day of travel, sinking into a plush bed would be a welcomed luxury.
One of the inconveniences I encountered was the condition of the coin laundry machines. One of them was out of order, likely due to wear and tear. It would be beneficial for the motel to invest in newer, more reliable machines to ensure guests can access laundry facilities without any hassles. This improvement would enhance the convenience factor for long-term visitors.
While the overall visuals of the motel appeared outdated, it is important to note that it is a budget-friendly establishment. However, a refreshed and modernized aesthetic would certainly attract a wider range of guests. A fresh coat of paint, updated furniture, and tasteful decor choices could work wonders in transforming the atmosphere.
On a positive note, the breakfast provided at Super 8 Motel was good and met my expectations. The variety of options, from hot items to cereals and pastries, offered something for everyone. It was a pleasant surprise to start the day with a satisfying meal.
In conclusion, Super 8 Motel has the potential to be an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers, but it is currently in need of a makeover. By addressing the damaged bathrooms, upgrading the beds, investing in new coin laundry machines, and refreshing the overall visuals, this motel could become a true gem in the hospitality industry. With its already satisfactory breakfast offering, guests would have an even more enjoyable and comfortable experience. Here's hoping that the management recognizes the opportunity to elevate the Super 8 experience and invests in the necessary upgrades in the...
Read moreGiving a very honest, down to earth review of this. This place has been a go to for myself since august roughly. My first time there they allowed an early check in, and it was early, early. Like 6 am, under circumstance the front desk was beyond welcoming. Not just that but for me it’s one of the few places who allow smoking, which for some isn’t a deal, but for me it’s where I stay. They’ve always worked with me over the months and made sure any accommodations are met. I had an issue with my water getting not heated enough for showers, and the compensation was greatly appreciated and I got treated like a human instead of a lot of the snarly feed back, OH well. I see at other places. I’ve had to leave or not be able to check in due to circumstances and staff is always understanding. I genuinely mean the ENTIRE STAFF. Not just hey! She’s great. No. This places ran by someone who is set to meet standards and has a team of pleasant people every day and every hour of those days. The pool and hot tub have ALWAYS been accessible, and they have awesome lights for in the evening swim. The breakfast is great too, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles at times, toast, muffins, access to apple or orange juice and coffees teas. I’m telling you this is a gem, and says numbers for a super 8. Highly recommend anyone looking for a good stay to come here. Thanks for the great hospitality and I’ll always be back. Only thing is location but that’s a personal thing as I’m out of Edmonton, but the small drive to fort sask...

The room was gross, dirty tub and sink, coffee pot dirty, cups had teeth marks, end tables had hair and crumbs, tub and a filthy ring, sink had a crusty ring, body hair, stains on carpet and chair, bathroom walls dirty as hell...2 other moms who attended the dance festival left the hotel to go to another... when i told customer service about my room they told me there cleaner was handicap...ummm..ok? Is that an professional at all? Am I to be ok with it ? Over a week later and no response in refund from management but the one call I did manage to get was to offer a discount for next year? Is that even acceptable. After 2-3 weeks the manager refunded me $12 dollars lmao 🤣 what an absolute JOKE of a place . I do not recommend the hotel at all...out dated/needs cleaning and renovations and the staff was super unprofessional. After talking to the other MOMS we went up with more than 3 families switched hotels that night. One of them found a roach in her room! Shows how much they clean! A 12 dollar credit isn't even 1 hours...
