My recent visit to the Canadian Brewhouse with my two young children left me thoroughly disheartened. Approximately a week ago, we entered the establishment with excitement, hoping for a pleasant dining experience. However, what ensued was a series of disappointments and disrespect that overshadowed any enjoyment we could have had.
As a parent, I understand the importance of accommodating my children's preferences, which is why I politely requested an extra bottle of ketchup to accompany our meal. To my dismay, the waitress responded with a rude scoff and failed to fulfill this simple request not once, but twice. Despite my efforts to maintain a courteous demeanor, I was met with dismissiveness and neglect throughout the entire duration of our meal
Throughout the course of our visit, we were never offered refills for our beverages, nor were we checked on by the waitress. It became evident that our table was an afterthought, as if our presence inconvenienced rather than welcomed.
To add insult to injury, as I was settling the bill, I remembered that we never received the complimentary ice cream with our order. When I politely inquired about its whereabouts, the waitress coldly and bluntly denied our request, leaving us without the dessert we had anticipated.
The lack of respect, attentiveness, and basic courtesy exhibited by the waitress marred what could have been a pleasant family outing. It is disheartening to see such disregard for customer satisfaction and basic hospitality. I cannot in good conscience recommend the Canadian Brewhouse to others based on this...
Read moreI had pre booked a reservation that was paid for, it included a shuttle bus to a hockey game. However the table we received for our reservation was one of the worst spots to sit. Near an exit that is also a booth for the servers, the pool tables where right beside us with a small barrier between and kept having people leaning over above our table. The restaurant had plenty of space to seat us it was not even 50% capacity. Terrible view for TV in a sports lounge, and I still needed to look up sports scores as many of the tv were purely for advertising because their staff do not know the deals themselves, they rely on tablets. I also had no good interaction with my server as she was nose deep in the tablet. For paying or a reservation I was not impressed with the ambiance, atmosphere, service or food. Waitress had no knowledge of the menu, no daily specials were presented, everytime we had a question she needed to ask, again no knowledge of the restaurant. Food was obviously sitting under a heat lamp for sometime as it was cold in the center and dried out on the very top. The server was also surprised when she came to check on us and we had just received our food, which affirmed that it was sitting under the heat lamp for sometime. Some of the worst honey garlic wings I've had, very slimmy, and semi cold. Good news is, they honored a deal that is advertised online, however it took sometime because they had no knowledge of the daily specials offered through their franchise. Will not be going back. Read moreHorrible service... server brought us the wrong drink and was unwilling to bring us the correct drink or even offer to take it off our bill... ordered a pickle back and received it with fireball instead of whisky.. so nasty. She claimed she heard us say "jack fire" but I didn't even know that existed so how could I order that and why would I want that with pickle juice! Was asked if we wanted another drink and asked her to come back in 2 minutes. 15 minutes went by and still no service. The bouncer came around and we stopped him and we asked if he could grab our server as she was going to every other table but ours (including the one right beside us). Another 10 minutes went by and she still hadnt come by, we asked him again and he apologized and went to get her. 5-10 minutes later he came back and said "shes obviously come by now, right" and she still hadnt, it had been over 30 minutes. Knowing how we are feeling, he said he was going to take care of our bill because he knew how long we were waiting. Shoutout to him for taking care of our bill. Whats most disappointing is, im a regular there so I am familiar with the staff. A bunch of them came in on their off day and were served drinks and their bill all before we got any sort of service.
