Price was cheap, so was the experience. When I got there, no one was at the desk to check me in. There was a nunber to call if attendant was away from desk. Called multiple times no response, waited a half hour then went to supper. Thankfully when we got back someone checked us is. When I booked the listing said it had a stove - the room did not, just generic pic. So that caused waste of food prep. Room was not very clean, counter tops and bathroom were gross needed a clean after we got there. Food or liquid splattered around kitchen area, next to the garbage can, just not what i expected. Was loud in the ecning and loads of drunk people smoking around the main entrance, felt gross.
I'm sure I could have asked for Room with a stove but after the hastle of check in and over all experience, juice wasn't worth the squeeze.
Seems like a good spot for people looking to get a Room and party though, big room.
Oh and it was hot in there! There was AC but no matter what I set it too it did not change the temp, so there's that too.
For the price book a chain hotel is my advice, I never leave reviews especially bad ones but they emailed me twice to leave a review...
Read moreA decent option for visiting the city. It is in a college dormitory, so it is not luxurious, but it is a good value. We ended up in room 327, which was at the end of a hallway, but was probably one of the better options in terms of rooms as it only had neighbours on one side (and even then the building is pretty sound proof.) There were some issues with the cooling system which we never did figure out, but the rooms were neither too hot or too cold anyway, and even with windows open at night there was next to no noise outside. As is mentioned elsewhere there is no tv in the rooms, though I don't see it as being a huge issue, as I never saw anyone in the common room and there is a tv there. It is a bit of an odd area of town to stay in, as there is not a whole lot in the immediate area, though it is not too far from LaSalle Boulevard, so getting across the city either way is pretty easy. Overall, we liked our experience there and...
