0/5 TERRIBLE experience out of many visits at a red lobster before (an my partner and I visit the Sudbury location often enough). We decided to go out yesterday evening (march 10th, 2024)
Firstly, we ordered a lobster punch which was basically straight alcohol had no other taste what so ever.
Ordered the āNew! Crab Queso dipā, as a starter which came out at the same time as our crab legs which would have been fine, if it was hotā¦. but it was barely lukewarm. I also wouldnāt have considered it dip it was basically water and barely stuck to the chips.
Then we found a rubber band in the crab which was excused with āthey kitchen boils them in the rubber bands so thatās normal but it should have been removed before being servedā , we also ordered the garlic rub and for some reason it wasnāt prepared properly and came on the side!
Our AMAZING server then brought to us an additional dish of crab legs free of charge, but unfortunately it was even more over cooked then the first dish, it was so hard to even get out of the shell it took far to long, was barley worth the effort of eating it.
Lastly I spoke to our server about the issue to wait about 25 minutes only to be told the management was far to busy to deal with the situation or even approach the table to apologize. (While the restaurant was nearing close and had maybe 5 tables left) Our server had removed the crab completely from the bill, which was very nice! Ā Ā Ā Read moreWalked in for lunch to what seemed like a deserted restaurant with a dilapidated lobster water tank containing small and non-appealing lobsters. Thankfully I was there for lunch as I wouldn't of had any of those lobsters especially at the price they're asking for. So finally seated in a booth after being ask our choice and specifically noted a table please to which we took it upon ourselves to move to the nearest table. This was a smart move as we heard the staff arguing who was going to serve us now. We had the friendliest most attentive server that any restaurant would be honored to have working for them. Since this is a fish and seafood place and being that their fish and chips were the daily special, I went for that. It was my first time having fish and chips at that location so I really didn't pay much attention to the "different" taste that it had. It wasn't a bad one, just different. Only to find out later that night while being sick like nothing before and spending the entire night in the washroom coming out of both end violently did I realized what happened. It was easy to sort out as it was the only thing I had to eat all day. I also heard word that this location was struggling financially and could be on the verge of closing which would explain the appearance and experience endure during my last visit. So take the way you want but I don't think, actually I know I will not be returning there again...

I ordered escargots which arrived completely cold to the point where the cheese solidified and I was left with a gross mixture of mushrooms, escargots and garlic butter. I ordered a kids chicken finger meal with Cesar salad. The chicken fingers were again, very cold. The lettuce from the salad was so rusty, I'm not even sure how it left the chicken. I also ordered a make your own combo with 2 items with the admirals shrimp and shrimp linguini. The shrimp again was super cold. The linguini was okay. However, nothing was very appetizing that I ended up not eating much. Submitted this same review through the Red Lobster website and I have yet to get a response. Super disappointed. I ordered through Skip the Dishes and the driver was very apologetic about the delay in delivery and I reassured him that I did realize it was Friday night during dinner. I wasn't expecting a fast delivery but I was expecting at least a quality meal. I realize the restaurant was busy but maybe they should limit takeout and delivery orders to make sure what goes out is at least of decent quality. And while I realize that I could just warm up my food in the microwave, the Cesar salad was the final straw and I had lost my appetite. This was an 80$ order that went down the...
