Kinhao Sushi is a gem on Lasalle Blvd — easily one of the most pleasant and thoughtfully run sushi spots in Sudbury. Right from the start, the service stood out: our orders came out quickly, fresh, and exactly as requested. The attention to detail here is impressive. The bathrooms were not only spotless but smelled genuinely good — a rare and underrated detail that says a lot about how well the place is maintained. The food? Solid across the board. The sushi rolls were beautifully made with a rice-to-ingredient ratio that hit that sweet spot — nothing filler about these rolls. Even the French fries were done right: crispy, golden, and not greasy. They offer a generous selection of dipping sauces, which was a nice touch. A couple of surprising perks: the soft drinks and water are free for adults — a rarity these days — and the ice cream dessert was smooth and creamy with no sign of freezer burn. Bonus points for families — they have high chairs, and even offer kid-friendly cups. It’s clear they’ve put thought into making the experience easy for parents. All in all, Kinhao is clean, quick, family-friendly, and full of value. Highly recommend for both casual dining and sushi fans looking for consistent quality and comfort.

Good atmosphere. Lighting is a little dim but that's okay- I love the moody lighting. Modern design. Booths are comfortable, not too soft but not so firm it's like sitting on plain wood. Got my miso soup and seaweed salad as well as condiments in record time (less than 5min after ordering). Tempura shrimp, good, crispy, shrimp is still tender. Perfectly cooked. Same with mushroom tempura. Takoyaki was hot, crispy on the outside and molten on the inside with a good amount of octopus and good flavor. Good bite sized takoyaki balls. Visual presentation of nigiri and sashimi is very beautiful and pleasing to look at. Sashimi fish is fresh and tasty, and the salmon had a pleasing amount of fat. Nigiri is perfectly bite sized and the rice is delicately seasoned, however the tuna nigiri was a little dissappointing- the fish was sliced very thin and nearly fell apart. Black Dragon maki roll was not what I expected, it had a salmon topping as compared to the typical eel topping, however the roll was well-made and delicious. Beef mushroom rolls were delicious. BBQ Beef short ribs were also delicious. Atmosphere 9/10 Service 7/10 Food 7.5/10 Overall 7.5/10 Server name was Arti (give this woman a raise she was so nice to me!!)

Wow very very disappointed. We ordered take out because this place had a better rating than Okinawa down the road. Don't let the pictures on the website deceive you, they look amazing. But that is hardly what we got. I got miso soup, didn't look or taste like miso soup at all, very dark color and tasted like they dumped soya sauce in it. The deep fried wonton were literally ice cold not cooked and different fron the website, I had to cook them. The sushi looked very gross and was tiny compared to the pictures, tasted ok... the beans were cold too, the pork dumpling were also ice cold not cooked. Also I forgot to mention, I had to drain my soup out of the plastic bag because there container was broken and it leaked everywhere. The south end restaurant, I remember being good. The Lasalle one, do not go to. I think they need more authentic people working here, my wife told me when she picked up the food it was a bunch of young caucasian individuals working. Honestly best sushi place in all of Sudbury is probably Tim and Tony's in Val Caron. Wish they were open on Monday's! See pictures for visual representation. I honestly feel cheated, for a $65.00 meal I expected much more. I want my money back! 💰
