My husband and I stayed at Inn On The Twenty last weekend, to celebrate a special occasion. From the time we booked the reservation to check-in and check-out, the service we received was exceptional.
We were hesitant to book this hotel at first , because we have stayed at another Vintage Hotel before and the service was terrible. But we had some gift cards to use up and also wanted to give another Vintage Hotel a chance. We were so glad we did.
Inn On The Twenty really impressed us. It’s a beautiful hotel, well kept. The concierge and staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating during our whole stay.
At check in, they provided complimentary apple cider and cookies in the lobby, which was a pleasant surprise.
When we entered our room, there were complimentary sweets and a card addressed to us for our celebration. Our room was clean and spacious. And the bed was comfortable. To our amazement, everything worked ! (Wifi, tv, fridge, fan/heat) Any request we had were responded to and taken care of quickly, within minutes ! Wow! We noticed our bed was turned down and a rose was placed on our pillow, after we had returned from dinner. Very nice. We have stayed at many other hotels before, including the other Vintage Hotel, and none of them comes close to matching this hotel.
We didn’t have a chance to go to the hotel restaurant for dinner, since we had made reservations elsewhere prior to check-in, so we went there for lunch on the day of checkout . The food presentation was like a work of art, but more importantly, it was delicious and the service was great too. We will definitely go back and try the dinner menu next time!
I fully recommend staying at this hotel and dining at their restaurant if you are ever in the Niagara Wine Country. Next time we are in town, we will definitely be staying at Inn On The...
Read moreThis is a fantastic little boutique hotel in the middle of Niagara Wine Country. My wife and I were married here in 1998.... and almost 21 years later, I surprised her for Valentine's Day with a night's stay and dinner at the restaurant we had our wedding dinner at..... Rooms are well appointed, spacious and perfect for a little romance. We stayed in a Wine Country Suite which included a king bed, sitting area with gas fireplace, and an enormous bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Everything from check-in to check-out was awesome. Staff is friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The nightly turn down service including a single white rose was a nice touch! It is worth noting that the Inn also owns Restaurant on the Twenty across the street.... this 5 star restaurant will leave you wanting for absolutely nothing! Try the Halibut, or the Atlantic Salmon sashimi...... or the scallops and pork belly....if you enjoy great food, you simply can't go wrong!!! After dinner, we wandered up to the Jordan House tavern for a couple of beers. Here's a tip for the price conscious.... the hotel offers an awesome (but expensive) room service breakfast option.... BUT, if you are willing to get out if bed and go fetch your own, the bakery next door, De La Terre, serves an awesome breakfast. We had the Avocado Toast, Breakfast sandwich, a Cinnamon stick and 2 coffees for less than a single breakfast from the room service menu..... totally not knocking what the Inn has to offer, simply offering an alternative that allows guests to support another local business. Our "package" included tasting passes for several local wineries and we happily spent the next day exploring these options and discovering some awesome local Niagara wines and craft brews! Thank you, Inn on the Twenty, for making Valentine's Day 2019 an awesome...
Read moreWe got married at the Inn on Twenty July 22 2023! We had our ceremony at Cave Springs Vineyard (escarpment site) and then our reception at the Inn. The location and view is breath taking! Grace M was the wedding coordinator and she was so helpful and responsive to all my emails. The inn had so many of their own rentals that they offer (easels, wine barrels, etc). We were able to customize our day and I added the champagne toast/refreshments cart post ceremony that they were able to provide. My day of coordinator was Stacey and she was amazing! Made sure everything was going as planned. The food is amazing and top notch. The appetizers were OK but the main course had all our guests talking about how delicious it was. The staff are awesome! Megan and Becky were also so great to work with! Had so much fun chatting the night of our wedding. The staff packed up all our decor so we did not have to worry about anything! The often work with simply beautiful decor and joani so they facilitated the pick up and drop off times with them. The hotel is also so cute and spacious for getting ready! Book your wedding with them if you want no stress and just an amazing/beautiful day with great food!
The only issue we had was with the restaurant at the Inn on Twenty the day before my wedding. My family was having one drink and some food the evening of July 21st. There was one other table there and they were loving my family’s energy. The manager told me family they had to leave and was not willing to give a logical explanation. I heard about this the next day and was very upset by this. It was addressed and the staff apologized for this and acknowledged the situation. I hope the manager can learn and handle these situations better whoever he was.
Overall, highly recommend and we will be back for our...
