I reserved a glamping site at their resort based on the photos provided on a booking site. The photos showed a large clean tent with nice furnishings both inside and outside. There were supposed to be outside chairs provided but there were not. When I tried to ask about getting them, there was nobody on site to speak to. The tent itself was filthy, which being a tent, I didn't expect it to be hotel room clean but finding a used toothbrush in one of the provided cups from the previous occupants was too much. The worst part was the bed. The description said a foam mattress bed was in the tent and the photos on the booking site depicted a 12" thick mattress sitting directly on the floor. However what was provided was a folding camping cot with a 3" thick bare foam mattress topper that was so uncomfortable that there was no point in even bothering with it. Even though I had booked the entire weekend, I left after one night and was refused a refund. Do not stay with this resort because they engage in dishonest advertising practices and don't make things right when customers are not satisfied. I've included photos of what is on the booking site and what guests can actually expect to find when they arrive.

Last minute gem discovered for our stay in the St. Catherine's area! Located in a nice quiet area with amenities close by, Jordan Valley Resort is a lovely place. We stayed in the Napa Tiny Home and cannot recommend enough trying it out. Plenty of storage, a nice shower and washer/dryer if needed. The comforts of home while camping and the air conditioning was a delightful surprise. Definitely needed for our weekend! Notable cons to mention would be we did find some rodent poop around (in the fridge of all places) but honestly to be expected while "camping." Also we were informed the oven door shattered in transit (pictured) with no solution for it. We did not need the oven but it was concerning with our toddler running around. We made due and cleaned up any missed glass and covered it with a garbage bag and it was no issue. If you plan on visiting the campground, definitely try to book the tiny home. Worth the cost per night and we will definitely be booking again!

What a great campsite! Loved it! We were worried about proximity to others so we booked two spots and it was a perfect plan. We loved the trails and had the most amazing time walking up the stream.... like right in the water!! Lots of laughs and slips but worth all the memories. You are also so close to a small main street and market in Jordan (walkable) and all the vineyards you can ask for. Downside. There are fruit farms and vineyards so close that you can hear their animal deterrents. They are LOUD, and can be both alarming and triggering. It sounds like 🔫shots. (It is not - it is propane cannons to make it sound like hunting 🔫.)

My family and I stayed there over the American May long weekend and have to say this is one of the best campgrounds we've been to. We stayed 4 nights.

Let's start with day 1. Sadly since it was the American long weekend, they did not have a full hook up site. However, they did have 30A and Water available. That was no fault of theirs as those sites go first. So book early. When we arrived, we met Monique. She was a great help and really very friendly. She personally helped us to our site and helped me park our trailer. She explained to us the site had very high water pressure and made sure we had a regulator which we did. I wouldn't leave home without one.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the grounds and they really take care of the place. The pool was great after long days in the blistering heat! The seasonal campers there were very friendly as well and their trailers were well kept. We didn't use the bathrooms there that much, but from what we did see, they were very clean. The laundry room was great as well. We did not check out the games room. It did have a great play area for the kids.

Monique's husband Bruce was also friendly and keeps the place orderly. The site was quiet and everyone was well behaved. If you are looking for a campground to be rowdy and party, this is not the place for you. It had a great family atmosphere.

The pricing was fair but the service received certainly did not match the price paid. Not in a bad way. It exceeded the pricing. It was the little things like Monique would deliver your firewood at night to you right to your site. We came as strangers but we felt more like friends when we left!

As for the bad review this place got, I took the time to ask them about it. I always like to get both sides of the story. It turns out one of the bad reviewers didn't even stay at the campground or I believe they wouldn't have given a bad review. When showing up to go camping, make sure you understand how the pricing works. When you show up with multiple car loads of people they have the right to charge you for multiple people.

Check this place out! You won't be...

We tried to make it to this place. I was excited because it looks stunning and close to the many attractions in the area! However, out of a combination of poor business communication and our own travel troubles, we unfortunately did not make it but are not going to be refunded. I can't speak to the quality of the campground itself, but for whatever reasons, reaching anyone by phone was impossible from 12:15pm to office closing at 5pm on a Thursday. We were traveling from Maine and had some travel hiccups; we booked this place online as we started our travels to the area pbut when I had immediate questions that could not wait 18+ hours for return communication, I could get no one to answer the phone. We also left a few voicemails and also emailed. Ultimatey, we ended up renting a hotel for a night then booked another campground. The next day, we received a call from Jordan Valley and after explaining that having no communication the prior day was a major issue for us and requesting a refund, we were met with excuses and denial and told that they would've made arrangements for a late arrival but again, with no communication, we couldn't guess as what they would or wouldn't do and this information isn't spelled out on their website. It says to make arrangements with them if after 7pm- but that's it. All in all, I'd say call first and ask ALL of your questions up front. If you can't get them on the phone and your travelling more than a couple of hours, use their ability to communicate as a barometer on weather to book or not. I'll be calling to book all of my future plans for any business (if possible) after this experience. ALSO, read all of their newest reviews in the last year to gauge for yourself - I should have saw the...

We used to love this campground having camped here for several years but things have really gone down hill.

The grounds are beautiful and it is close to many amenities but the campground feels like it’s abandoned and is used by transients as a place to crash. We have witnessed people driving in late at night, sleeping in their cars and leaving in the morning on several occasions. No one is on duty at night so it’s easy to do.

We also unknowingly booked the flooded site. We know from experience that it can flood when it rains but the current problem is from an underground leak that they SAY they’re going to fix but don’t. I can’t believe they are still booking it to be honest. We reported it to head office in June way before all the rain we’ve been getting. We cancelled our next booking and got nothing but an acknowledgment that it’s a problem.

We got stuck driving in due to the flooding and the manager refused to help in any way saying it was a liability. Isn’t it a liability to rent a constantly flooded space??

My husband had to walk up the road to find a local farmer who kindly towed us out for 50$. That on top of the almost 100$ per night charge for an electric site makes it a very expensive camping experience. He also mentioned that things have gone downhill here.

Don’t bother asking for any kind of help from the current Manager. She is difficult to find when you need something and isn’t helpful when you can locate her.

So many weird things happened this year and last under her supervision.

Stay...
