If I wanted a job at the hotel, I could have just given them my resume. I actually can't believe that some people give this place good reviews. Obviously they haven't stayed in many hotels or have very low standards. Where do I even begin? The place obviously hasn't seen an update in at least 15 years. The lobby looks okay when you walk in but just as other people have said, as soon as you walk down the halls you will see all the carpets horribly stained and very poorly vacuumed. When I walked into my room it smelled like sewer and the carpet looked like it wasn't not vacuumed well at all. Full of stains. The countertop in the bathroom was peeling off. The beds were clean and luckily no bed bugs, and the toilet was clean but the bathtub had some hair in it that was definitely not ours along with what looked to be boogers stuck to some of the sides. The worst part? There is literally black mold growing in the corners of the tile on the wall. I wouldn't have cleaned it if I didn't have to but my kids needed to have a bath after being in the pool, which brings me to the next terrible thing about this hotel.. The pool is not big enough for the hotel. The pool area only has a maximum capacity of 44 people and the hotel has 4 floors. With about 30 rooms a floor, that's 120 rooms to a pool with a maximum capacity of only 44 people. If only 15 people are in the hotel with an average of 3 kids each that would be max capacity for the pool. I know not everyone is there at the same time, but for a hotel with 4 floors I think it should have a much bigger pool, especially with the water slide. Also they need to add a light or some sort of timer to show when people are allowed to go down the slide. My daughter got ran into twice because there is no timer on the slide and the pool is so small at the bottom. The pool and water slide is nice for the kids but definitely way too small for the size of hotel. I did say something to the lady at the front desk and she was nice about it. Can't say much about the staff as I only talked to them when I checked in and told them about the slide but they seemed okay. Whoever they have hired to clean needs to be replaced immediately though. The parking lot is also too small for the size of hotel and I had a very hard time finding a parking spot when the parking lot was somewhat full. I noticed that some people parked in random unmarked parking spots around the hotel because there wasn't enough parking spaces. There was a newer smart TV in our room which was nice but that's about the only good thing I can say. For a days inn, I thought this place would be a little cleaner and more updated. For $180+ a night, the price isn't really justified. Please renovate this hotel ASAP Rocky.

This was by far one of the dirtiest and most poorly maintained hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we walked in, we were hit with a wave of disappointment and grime. The carpets throughout the hotel – in our room, the hallways, and stairwells – were badly stained and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The stairs looked like they hadn’t seen a vacuum in months. Our room was no better. There was visible dirt and dust everywhere, boogers on the wall (yes, really), and some kind of strange green sticky substance smeared on the walls. The mattress was old, sagging, and extremely uncomfortable. The elevator was filthy all weekend, with the same smudges and grime on the surfaces every time we used it. The ice machines barely worked, and the windowsills in the room were covered in dust and dirt. Most disturbing of all, black debris actually blew out of the air conditioner whenever it ran – and even then, it barely cooled the room and sounded like a jet engine. Other “amenities” were just as bad: the TV didn’t work, the WiFi was spotty at best, and the bathroom was downright revolting. There was grime in the tiles and tub, sticky residue all over the provided toiletries, and some kind of film across the bathroom counter. It’s clear this hotel hasn’t been properly cleaned or maintained in a very long time. For $190 a night I would expect basic cleanliness at the very least. I feel cheated out of our money and would expect better from a Wyndham property.

Not up to expectations and we ended up leaving and not staying after check in. Agree with people commenting that the carpets need cleaning badly. The whole place smells bad, room did not smell fresh and clean and everything was run down. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable with bad sorings. The heating/cooling unit was making a loud squealing noise and the pull out bed there were no sheets, blankets or pillows available. The room phone was broken. All fine, but we asked to be changed rooms and to have bedding for the pullout and it was met with rudeness and hostility instead of an apology. The replacement room was more of the same, no bedding for pullout and the sofa bed pullout had a sign that said broken, do not use. We were told that we could all just sleep 3 adults in 1 bed even though we reserved a king with a pullout couch because of bed needs of guests. Although we could see other rooms on travel booking sites, the host was unable to release one to us (at 10pm) and said we had to take a broken room we couldn't sleep in or a broken room we couldn't sleep in. Found another option and way better choice.

Unacceptable Conditions and Poor Customer Service – Not Worth the Price

We arrived an hour early to check in, so housekeeping was still preparing the room. We went out and returned a short while later as directed and were given Room 107. After bringing in all our luggage, we quickly realized this room was directly beside the guest laundry room. The walls were so thin that we could clearly hear the washer and dryer running—constantly and loudly.

The moment we stepped inside, we were hit with a strong smell of mildew, likely due to the room's proximity to the laundry facilities. The odor was overwhelming. The condition of the room was completely unacceptable:

Stains all over the carpet

Dead bugs on the walls

Red bacterial buildup around the bathtub drain and sink

Plugged bathroom sink that wouldn’t drain

Broken electrical outlets in the bathroom

A desk chair that was falling apart

Dirty beds

For $200 CAD per night which was my fee, this was beyond disappointing—it wouldn’t have been acceptable even at $50. The room was filthy, poorly maintained, and clearly had not been inspected for basic cleanliness or safety.

I immediately returned to the front desk and informed the staff that this room was not suitable. The employee quickly offered us another room—Room 420 on the fourth floor—which oddly had been "unavailable" during check-in. While this room was a slight improvement, it still had significant issues:

The fridge did not close properly and was not maintaining safe temperatures (well above the required 4°C)

The carpet had not been vacuumed

The beds were dirty

We made it through the night and checked out as early as possible the next morning.

What was especially disappointing was the lack of concern or follow-up from the front desk staff. When I mentioned that Room 107 was unacceptable, they didn’t ask why or acknowledge the issues at all—suggesting this may be a recurring complaint they’re used to brushing off.

This property is clearly not focused on guest experience or basic hospitality standards. I will not be recommending this hotel or chain to anyone. Serious improvements are needed in cleanliness, maintenance, and how customer feedback is handled.

Easy to find location, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms and the best breakfast!

Liked · Since our first hotel sadly did not work out, Days Inn made it extremely easy for us to check in late night and accommodate us on the 'two rooms side by side' request. The staff was super friendly and professional, and the lobby was spotless and looked really cool. It gave off great vibes!. Fresh lemon water was available on the lobby. The rooms themselves were very clean and stocked up. Plenty of storage for our belongings and bed sheets were perfect, they looked and felt like they came right out of the dryer. The air conditioner worked like a charm and was quiet while operational. It was so refreshing to see shampoo and conditioner in pump bottles on the walls in the bathtub instead of those tiny tubes. By far the best breakfast of our trip! Cheese and veggie cheese omelettes, sausages, great tasting coffee, fresh various types of bread with a automatic toaster nearby and a pancake maker that works! Apple and orange juice was also available. Very organized layout made it easy to get your breakfast together and was allowed to bring it up to your room. It was great to hit the pool and the jacuzzi after a long drive to relieve the muscles. We’re totally hooked on this hotel and it’s our top pick when we return! We wish we had taken pictures to remember how great this hotel is.

Disliked · The pool was a little on the small side. The waterslide is great but essentially everything becomes a splash zone and it was hard to avoid when you just want to hang back and relax. It was sad to see their main sign was hit and knocked over on the ground. Our first impression was 'Uh oh, is this place going to be a disaster?' This location should repair the sign as soon as possible because this hotel was amazing to stay at. It didn't have a great view from our window, but since we only stayed the night it wasn't a big deal and was only opened in the morning to let in natural light. The drawers and desk did show some wear, but functionally...
