Super 8 by Wyndham Moose Jaw SK — Hotel in Moose Jaw

I thought that the customer service here was above par. When I checked in I was extremely distraught because I had just driven from Calgary for a townhome viewing that was cancelled as I got into Moose Jaw. The lady at the front desk was completely understanding, & patient with my check in as I was a little scatter brained. She went the extra mile of upgrading my kids and I to a room with a little nicer view without me even asking, and as simple of gesture as it was, in the moment it made me feel really valued. The hotel itself was very tidy, and it was easy to find. I also like that it is close proximity to groceries, (Superstore is across the street), & restaurants; there are many within walking distance. The BP's across the street is where we ate & it was great. There is also a mall within just over a block walk or drive and a Canadian Tire. It is very fair priced and great value. I would highly recommend it. There is also parking on site and a complementary breakfast, and free wifi. It was nice and quiet and I was able to sleep...

If you have never stayed here, try it out. If you stayed here years ago, come back. The bedding was new and lovely. The bathroom lines were new or newer. Loved the Dove toiletries soap, shampoo & conditioner. Our room was very clean and smelled nice. Nothing fancy just a regular hotel room but the things I mentioned just made it so much nicer. The breakfast they provided was a cut above many others we have had. They actually had plain, cinnamon and raisin and whole wheat bagels. Never seen all 3 anywhere before. Omelettes that had small pieces of green and red peppers. Yum, yum. Yoghurt, varieties of cereal, sausages, juice, milk, great coffee and lots of condiments. Not part of the hotel but beside it is a Humpty’s should you need dinner and across the road going south is Boston Pizza. Highly recommend this hotel. Staff were nice, pleasant and attentive. Hmmm... Rewards never smelled this good?? Well if rewards smell like old wet dog, with a undertone note of labour crew feet wrapped up in 30 year old dank wet carpet smell, as fresh as wet laundry after a day or so left in the Maschine. First room I about puked, second room I only dry heaved but the smell wasn't the problem. 2 days before their key card on that room malfunctioned but yes still gave us the room, giving us new keys each trip in a x around when it didn't work expecting different results I guess? They lock doors at 11pm with access of by key card. I guess you know where I'm going with this

Best answer though when I told him about the pungent smell in the room.. "I know"... What do you expect me to do about it?

Hmmm.... If their were 0 stars they would get zero but they get 1 for strong air conditioning. Oh and by the way it's like $150...
