This motel was exactly what me and my kids needed on our weekend long adventure to Pincher Creek. We came for a paddling festival in the area but decided to keep things simple and stay in a motel room as opposed to camping (way less stuff to pack). With a car full of hopes, dreams and kayaks we set off to Pincher Creek Alberta. After an 8+ hour drive, we were tired but still in good spirits. We met the accommodation owner Dia, and she was a joy to be greeted with as we walked in the door. We chatted for 20-30 minutes about the area, the accommodations and the restaurants before she showed us our private cabin. It was gorgeous! A stand alone 1 bedroom cabin with full kitchen, bathroom and laundry. We felt like royalty. After getting settled in we ate dinner at the restaurant attached and it was very yummy! My kids were very fascinated with the abundance of wildlife on the walls of the log cabin themed restaurant. As we waited for our meals we identified most of the animals and even got to see some in real life while we were in the area. The best part of the stay was the people we met while we were there and we look forward to recommending it to anyone who may be taking a trip in that part of the world someday soon....

It has a real bed, with sheets and linens you would find at a retail store. Stepping out of the shower onto a real, plush bathmat was fantastic! The A/C worked perfectly, and because of the small space, cooled the room down nicely. There is a mini fridge and microwave inside. The shower was so clean, it was squeaky! In fact, I thought I might slip. A hand rail would have been nice. On site, there is a restaurant that offers indoor and outdoor seating. Additionally, they offer a variety of ice cream flavors, and because they are open until 11pm, you can snack late. Donna is the proprietor. She is incredibly kind, and greets you by name when she sees you. Like I said, staying here was like staying above a friend's garage. You are treated like family. |HINT: Waterton National Park and Banff are within a few hours drive in either direction. (North= Banff,...
