Best Western Terrace Inn — Hotel in Terrace

Came to Terrace for work. My first time here in the quaint, quiet town. I never knew the draw of small town life but starting to understand its strengths. I do a lot of travelling for work so I can draw from many past experiences from other hotels in evaluating hotels. In terms of design, it is a bit dated but, the rooms looks to be renovated with modern styling and it does the job. I was happy to see a wall mounted thermostat (vs the built in controls on the AC/heating unit). Everything was clean and smelling fresh. But the owner takes pride in adding little furnishing touches to make the space more welcoming. Just the other day I watched a local artist install some statues in the lobby. It was really cool to talk to him and the material he used in his work. I am staying in Terrace for an extended period and the owner makes it a point to make sure he touches base with me whenever he seems me in the lobby. Attentive, accommodating and asking if I needed anything or if he can make my stay even more comfortable. I would comment that the level of service and care is outstanding. Even Front Desk personal (Ali and Abi) always make it a point to offer a friendly hello. I really appreciate the family like atmosphere and how they make me feel welcomed. The breakfast kitchen staff is remarkable. Mansi, Jenni and Carol always welcoming with a bright warm smile early in the morning. Manjeet made a special effort in making sure I am 100% satisfied with my breakfast meals. Hassan (Operations Manager) makes sure that I have everything I need on a daily basis and seems to genuinely care for my wellbeing. Since I am here on an extended stay (2 months) I have seen Hassan work with his staff in ensuring everything is clean, organized and ready for guests. I have seen 3 conventions held at their facility and I have witnessed Hassan "getting his hands dirty" and assisting the entire staff with all the necessary preparations. His leadership is outstanding as he leads and participates in the ultimate goal of customer satisfaction. Based on my observations (I like people watching) I honestly don't think he rests until he knows the job is done properly. I will be a repeating customer at this establishment as they have shown me what hospitality really means. Overall, very positive experience and will be recommending friends and family...

Booked thIs hotel for two nights during our stay in Terrace. Extremely impressed. The hotel exterior isn’t too inviting - older looking building - but interior has been nicely refreshed. There is an on-site restaurant, which we didn’t use, but their menu looked inviting. Staff friendly and helpful. Room provided a fridge, microwave and a VERY large screened TV with plenty of channel options. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom clean, lots of towels and nice selection of toiletries offered. WiFi worked perfectly. Complimentary breakfast excellent. No paper plates or plastic cutlery here - real dishes and cutlery used. Omelettes/scrambled eggs made to order. Nice touch! This pairs perfectly with the sausages and hot beans on offer. Lots of cold breakfast items to choose from including cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, muffins, pastries, etc. Waffles too (which you do make yourself with batter provided) and can be topped with cream and strawberries available. The toaster perfectly toasted the bread first time. No need to repeat the process. That’s a first! There is no airport shuttle available from this hotel. Was surprised at that. Had to extend our rental car reservation. All in all a very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend. Should also comment on the fact Best Western is the only hotel chain that has actually provided us with free stays and/or discount offers in appreciation for our business. This hotel in Terrace was amazing from the time l arrived they made me feel very welcome . I had to stay there for 10 days and everyday they made me feel like l was at home. The breakfest that they offer there is like no other continental that l have ever had, I have stayed at many hotels traveling for sports with my kids in the past and continental breakfest is very important to families to save money , l can’t say enough about this breakfest that they offer with a full omelette bar that you choose what you want and they cook in front of you plus hash brown and sausages just simply the best ever. This is one up on all the other hotels around The restaurant and pub down stairs was also awesome great food there Selina that works there is wonderful she makes you feel like a close friend which kept me going back there for every meal. Just want to mention some staff at the front which can make or break your stay they were amazing from start to finish ( Divya, Zak, Lindsay, Gerry ) They are an asset to this company very professional at their job but also made me feel like family.
