The quality of the fish is always top notch in the sushi, sashimi, nigiri, tempura, and tataki menu items. The service from many different servers is consistently friendly, and attentive. They can always answer questions about the food and drink items on the menu. The specials for rolls and cocktails are a nice touch. Ordered the spicy roll on special the last time with jalapeno slices which was very good. The Alaska and Northern Lights rolls were excellent. The simple items are always quality too, like the edamame and miso soup. Their seaweed salad has a crispness and is better than other local sushi places. Not a good experience. I would not return. The waitresses only ever brought us our dishes and did not come back to check on us once, which would normally be fine, except 3 out of the 4 dishes we ordered were messed up. After waiting for 15 minutes for a simple miso and udon soup we had to sent them back since they were completely cold not even warm. Once we got our main dishes the teriyaki didn’t taste good and even though we ordered from the vegetarian menu the the sushi roll we got was completely covered with fish eggs. The lack of service didn’t even allowed us to get a different one and my girlfriend ended up just eating a miso soup. We had to go to the entrance to pay just so we could leave. My friend and I got very ill after ordering $90 in take out sushi, they forgot a roll and when I called to tell them they offered to make another one but at this point I really didn't want to drive all the way back. They said I could pick it up on the following Tuesday when they were open again. On Tuesday when I spoke to them telling them about how sick we got and I'd rather pass on the extra roll, the girl automatically just said we don't give refunds here. I wasn't asking for a refund, only just trying to tell them that their food made two people very sick and they should look into why.
