This is a hidden gem of Terrace as this place needs to be talked about a lot more. This is my first time in Terrace and it being a small town, I knew of its inherent limitations. I was quite surprised with the outstanding quality and fair prices of this establishment. I am staying in Terrace for an extended period so I have been to this restaurant a few times. Each single time the items I ordered were phenomenal. Seasoned perfectly and high quality ingredients. They take "bar food" to a whole new level (I would not call this bar food as they have raised the bar- no pun intended). I highly recommend the "skeener burger" for something hearty and filling. The nachos (with added pulled pork") is not a dish to overlook. Great for sharing and the toppings were quite generous. Tonight, I ordered the cheesesteak sandwich and it was outstanding. Bread was soft and was perfectly dressed. The service has been top notch. A lot of establishments don't really take care of their patrons or do just the bare minimum and expect gratuity. VIV has been the server on the majority of nights I have been here. I am a huge water drinker (to combat the alcohol LOL) and not once did she let my glass go empty. I really appreciate it when attention to detail is taken seriously on the job. The girl works hard, always making sure the tables are ready after turned over (I watched the staff wipe down the legs of a table after a party left). I have never seen that and I appreciate that they care about cleanliness. I don't know VIV personally but it looks like she likes working out so ask her about some fitness tips and she will be more than happy to share her knowledge. I will be a returning patron (I want to try their entire menu) but more importantly, their service and food is way above industry standards.

I'm going to give it a high rating, even though there was one major problem. I'll mention the problem first - the band was waaaaaaay too loud. I put my earbuds in, without anything playing, just to prevent physical pain. Even with the earbuds shoved in as deep as they could go, the band was loud and clear. They were... fine, aside from the pain and hearing loss. Actual bar / restaurant part, though? Absolutely fantastic. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with brie and apple and stuff on it - it was really weird, really unique, but also really good. And the fries were amazing! The bartender was a machine. They were way too busy to possibly function, and yet they did anyway. I sat at the bar (literally no where else to sit, it was packed) and watched in awe. She never stopped moving, just smoothly going from one thing to the next without a beat in between. Downright magic. So, as long as there's no band playing - I'll be sure to check that - it is a fantastic place to visit.

We drive into Terrace from Stewart once or twice a month, so a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink & a snack is a must! We have been coming here for years and love it. We grab a few drinks and almost always get the chicken wings! The staff has always been amazing, and the service is very good. We can't wait to come back again!

Well let me tell ya! At first my experience wasn't the best. After 40 min of placing our lunch order the server came to explain there was an issue with the cook and that they where down to one, but it shouldn't be to much longer. Well by now my partner is hangry and informs me it doesn't matter how good it is he won't be going back! He's pretty stubborn 😣 Along comes the manager, I forgot to get her name, but she was awesome. She explained the situation and asked if we could wait 20 minutes more and lunch was on them. I have to say that was one of the best meals I've had. I had the steak sandwich and it was amazing. Hubby had a burger and was so impressed that he decided it was worth paying for. The French fries are to die for. After arguing with the manager about who was paying, we left a decent tip and with full bellies. This will now be my go to lunch stop. I need to try everything on the menu. Thank you Skeena Bar for the excellent dinning...
