Tadka Indian Cuisine in Etobicoke delivers a tantalizing journey through the vibrant flavours of Indian culinary mastery. Nestled in the heart of Etobicoke, this restaurant promises an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates the richness of Indian spices and traditional cooking techniques.
During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of sampling their Chicken Madras and Peas Pulao from their enticing menu. The Chicken Madras, a quintessential South Indian dish, was a symphony of aromatic spices and tender chicken, simmered to perfection in a rich coconut-based sauce. Each bite offered a harmonious blend of heat and flavour, leaving a lingering warmth that was both comforting and exhilarating.
Complementing the Chicken Madras was the Peas Pulao, a fragrant basmati rice dish delicately infused with spices and fresh peas. The rice was flawlessly cooked, each grain distinct and infused with the essence of cumin, cloves, and cardamom. It provided a delightful contrast to the bold flavours of the Chicken Madras, enhancing the overall dining experience.
For those looking to explore a variety of flavours, Tadka Indian Cuisine offers enticing combo meals that showcase a diverse selection of curries, breads, and sides. The combo meal I enjoyed provided a delightful assortment of dishes, each offering its own distinct character and depth of flavour. It's an ideal choice for both seasoned enthusiasts of Indian cuisine and newcomers eager to explore its richness.
Beyond the exceptional food, Tadka Indian Cuisine offers a welcoming ambiance and attentive service that elevates the dining experience. The décor reflects a blend of traditional Indian elements with modern sophistication, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for both intimate dinners and celebratory gatherings.
In conclusion, Tadka Indian Cuisine in Etobicoke is a culinary gem that promises a sensory adventure through the vibrant tastes of India. Whether you're indulging in their aromatic Chicken Madras, savouring the fragrant Peas Pulao, or exploring their delightful combo meals, each dish is a testament to their commitment to quality and authenticity. Read moreFor the Biryani - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for sure. But only ⭐⭐ star for the $4.99 plus tax Raita charged to us. Wanted to give only ⭐(one star) but .... Read story below 👇
We bought 2 Vege biryanis on Fri, Apr 15th and immediately we called again to ask whether raita is provided with the biryani's or no. Somebody picked up the phone and said yes its provided and kept the phone. When we came to pickup the order, we were surprised to see $4.99 plus taxes that was charged to us extra for the Raita.
Honestly, the vegetable biryanis are really tasty and in good quantity also and we all loved the food for sure. But we were not told about $4.99 extra charges for the Raita. Moreover the Raita was like water 1/2 cup of water added in 1 spoon of curd with nothing else and no taste for it to call it Raita. The Quantity was half the box that was provided to us.
We know that the world is changing and there are no free lunches in this world but charging $4.99 without mentioning it even once when asked for is something uncalled for. If we knew that we had to pay $4.99 for this piece of Crock then we wouldn't have bought it along with Biryani ( Biryani was awesome...no complaints on that ) We would have made the Raita at home in like 5 mins...We all have curd or stirred yoghurt at home most of the time any which ways..
You have all the rights to feel that how can a customer can write an email ( no response received so far for this email as on Apr 30, 2022) for $4.99 which doesn't mean a world to you. But it means to us. Its not about the money but its about the worth that a buyer finds after paying for something and yet gets a crock in return is what is frustrating.
Put yourself in customer's shoes and then think over this incident by visualizing it and may be then I would appreciate your honest response.
Thanks

Read moreThis is the 3rd time ordering takeout at this restaurant in 3 yrs. My 1st experiece in 11/21 was disastrous. I read the on line reviews & decided to give it another try in 9/22 and again it was bad. Today, my final time was extremely bad. I ordered curry lamb & samosas. Cannot believe 2 samosas were $5. The lamb was all gravy with 6 small pieces of meat, loaded with a gravy that had nothing to do with curry nor lamb. I asked the man for some chili peppers and he went to the back and brought me 3 green chili peppers so I said I love hot food so can you give me a few more so I won't have to stop at Metro on my way just to pick up a few more chilies. He said he couldn't. It seems that all gravies are the same and added to every order that calls for gravy. There were strange tastes that as an Indian I couldn't even recognize. I just retired and now live in Humber Bay and was really hoping for a very good Indian restaurant here. Absolutely horrible. I know Indian food and what's worse, I have eaten in the best and finest Indian resturants because I am Indian. All 3 times I visited Tadka there were no diners in the restaurant so that should have been an eye opener. I know good food as I am a senior bank executive and have enjoyed the best of the best. I will never return there but what's worse for this restaurant is that I will now post everywhere possible including all Humber Bay billboards to tell people not to go to Tadka. People, please find another Indian restaurant in the area. I plan to check the others out too. Don't waste your money and staff has no clue as to customer service importance. Refusing me a few green chilis & bad food has now opened up a huge...
