Terrible Customer Service & No Accountability.
I booked my reservation weeks in advance through Booking.com. When I arrived at the hotel with my son, we were placed in a smoking room—something I absolutely did not request, especially considering my child’s presence and my allergy issues.
When I asked to be moved, the hotel refused, saying that Booking.com assigned the room, which is a big lie . As someone with hotel industry experienced, I know this isn’t true—hotels control room assignments, not third-party booking sites. This felt like a clear attempt to deflect responsibility due to being fully booked.Booking.com confirmed to me they don’t have access in assigning the room for the guest .
It was only 5 PM when we checked in, so there were likely still rooms available that hadn’t been occupied. Regardless, there was no no empathy shown for the fact that a child was being placed in a room with smoke residue.I can’t imagine why they assigned us in the smoking room .
Even worse, the General Manager offered no solution, leaving us with no choice but to stay in the room—we couldn’t afford to lose money and find another hotel.
Extremely disappointed with how this was handled. If you have health concerns, children, or simply expect a hotel to honor your reservation preferences, I would not recommend staying here.I gave them 2 days to reached out and resolve the issue...
Read moreHonestly, staff was nice and helpful. Wifi didn’t work and wasn’t informed until we arrived which was super frustrating having a toddler with us. This also wasn’t a new problem for them so I feel like it could have been communicated before our stay so we could plan accordingly. The tv didn’t work night one, they did fix it for the second night. The pool was nice and clean. Unfortunately our pool time was ruined by other guests which is out of the hotels control but definitely added to the frustration. There was blood on the wall by the elevator buttons which wasn’t cleaned the entire time we stayed. I did forget to mention it but didn’t feel like I should have to as it should be cleaned as a high traffic area. The second morning of our stay the cleaning staff entered our room while we were sleeping, quickly shut the door without announcing themselves which caused me to jump out of bed as I was there with my children. I had to leave my room to figure out who just walked into it. The rooms are nice but the beds were terribly hard. This is definitely a preference so I’m sure anyone who loves a hard mattress was happy. I would stay here again but only based off of amenities available and the...
Read moreDefinitely not a 3-star hotel! I usually don’t leave nasty reviews but want to warn others. Poor service, low amenities and dirty: I found a bed bug crawling around in my room. The only nice part is the hot tub / pool area and location. Awful front desk experience: the check-I process was slow and the lady was coughing all over the desk and payment cards without covering her mouth (Covid is still circulating…), the checkout agent didn’t offer any compensation or apologies for the bed bug. The halls are run down, the convenient access to Tim’s and the next door restaurant feels creepy with poor signage. The room is surface clean only, the curtains and bed skirts have odd stains. The bathroom is tiny and dirty, the towels are old. The bed is probably one of the worst I’ve slept in a hotel. Too firm, the sheets were hard and small old pillows. The TV is too high up and be careful as they do not clear your Netflix and Prime credentials after your stay, the live channels had a weird wave...
