Very disappointing customer service considering I am currently a platinum level rewards member and likely to be a diamond level member within the next couple of months. My wife had an unexpected injury since the time I booked our stay and her mobility is limited as she is on crutches. I asked if they had any rooms close to the elevator and they mentioned they did not have anything available without downgrading us but I would have thought at my status level a possible upgrade would be offered but it was not. The room itself is showing alot of wear and tear, paint peeling on the window sills, worn furniture and poorly laid out (e.g. positioning of tv in relation to the bed, available plug receptacles at the bed). I had booked a deluxe room and expected it would at least have a mini fridge, given at other properties I have booked at deluxe level room and it was included. Looking now at the hotel site, as to amenities included it appears as though it should have had a mini fridge and microwave included, so now I even question whether or not we received the level of room I had booked. I would expect better from a "Trademark Collection" hotel, which is supposed to be an upper-mid scale or better property but in all honesty I've stayed at lower level hotels which have been much nicer and maintained. The shuttle van is terribly inaccessible for anyone with mobility issues, my wife (with a broken ankle) struggled to make it up the large steps into the van. It was difficult enough that we considered just paying and taking an Uber or taxi instead. I believe I had mentioned in the review during my last stay that I may consider staying somewhere else the next time and this is now even more so the case after this stay. It is very obvious and clear that the ownership/management of this property is not re-investing in it and making any upgrades other than the bare minimum that...

Read moreOverall Experience
The hotel is conveniently located next to Winnipeg International Airport, making it ideal for travelers with early flights or layovers. However, the overall stay did not meet my expectations due to several issues with the room and bathroom facilities.
Room Quality
The room was clean but felt dark and lacked adequate lighting. This made the space feel somewhat uncomfortable, especially in the evening when more illumination was needed. The bed was comfortable, but the lack of natural and artificial light detracted from the overall experience.
Facilities and Amenities
The bathroom was a major disappointment. The bathtub was extremely slippery, leading to a dangerous situation where I twisted my ankle. In addition, the bathtub drained poorly, causing water to accumulate, which further increased the risk of slipping.
Location and Accessibility
The hotel’s location is its primary advantage, being just a short distance from the airport. It is convenient for quick stays but may not be ideal for longer visits due to the room and bathroom conditions.
Value for Money
Given the safety concerns and discomfort experienced during my stay, I did not find the hotel to be good value for money. While the proximity to the airport is a benefit, the issues with the room and bathroom overshadowed this advantage.
Recommendations and Tips
I would not recommend using the bathtub due to the slippery surface and drainage issues. If you decide to stay here, request a room with better lighting if available.
Final Thoughts
While the location is excellent for travelers, the room’s lighting and safety concerns in the bathroom make it hard for me to recommend this hotel. Improvements in these areas would significantly enhance the...
